“Very good place for a quick healthy bite. Obviously, one needs to choose the healthier options and stay away from the Magic Sauce (Sugar) and other options that make the meal unhealthy. I usually ask for the all white chicken, which is healthier and has more protein than the regular chicken. Flame Broiler is on my weekly fast food rotation, and I appreciate the taste and satisfactory feeling after the meal. Definitely recommend it to everyone.“

And it was the best burrito I have ever had ... ever. The meat was so tender and flavorful. I love that it had vegetables so I could pretend it was healthy. “Mhat Korean Restaurant may be a small spot, but it delivers authentic Korean flavors and a really satisfying meal.

We ordered the Dak Galbi (Stir-fried Spicy Chicken) with a side of mozzarella cheese, along with an order of fried dumplings. The dak galbi was packed with flavor, and we appreciated being able to adjust the spice level to something a little milder. Adding the mozzarella was definitely the right call, it melted into the spicy chicken, making the dish even richer and creamier while balancing the heat beautifully. The fried dumplings were crispy, flavorful, and made a great side.

The best part of the meal was saving room for the fried rice at the end. They cooked it right in the leftover dak galbi sauce, soaking up all of the rich, spicy flavors. It’s definitely the way to finish the meal and something I highly recommend ordering.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but the food is authentic, the portions are satisfying, and everything came together for a great dining experience. If you’re craving dak galbi, this place is well worth checking out.“

It feels like a secret because it’s as cozy and comforting as grandma’s house. This is a spot where everyone goes to for Sundubu (Korean Spicy Tofu Soup served boiling hot), or if they want Naengmyeon (Korean Buckwheat Noodles in a icy tangy broth) on hot summer day, or Bibimbap (Stone-pot Korean mixed rice filled with vegetables and meat with a spicy gochujang sauce and sesame oil)—just something comforting, and what they’re used to. This place has been there forever, and it’s under the same owner who wants to spoil us with her Korean recipes. The service was so good I can tell they truly care about their food and the presentation of it. Even the chili sauce was so good like I can’t say enough good things. “Love Gangnam Kimbob so much. Very laid back atmosphere. Service is always hospitable and upbeat. Food options are plentiful and delicious. You also get a lot for your dollar here imo. The kimbop is very filling and always leaves me feeling good about my choice to eat out given the portion of veggies contained within. I usually cycle between the tonkatsu, tempura shrimp, ssam and spicy ssam kimbops, while my wife loves to order their shin ramyun. They also have some interesting combos for lunch and dinner I’ve yet to try, but come with a variety of food that seem like a great option when you don’t only crave one thing. I can’t recommend this place enough.

“Han Yang is good. It’s also wonderfully old school. Nothing about the place feels particularly interested in being redesigned for Instagram, which I appreciate. You come here for Korean comfort food, metal dishes of banchan, enormous bowls of soup and stone pots hot enough to continue cooking your dinner while you eat it. And that stone pot is where I’d start.

The gondre dolsot bibimbap was fantastic. Gondre is Korean thistle and here it gets worked through the rice with the egg, seaweed and everything else until the whole thing becomes earthy, savory and deeply satisfying. But the best part comes underneath. Leave it alone long enough and the rice against the stone develops that beautiful scorched crust, nurungji, which you eventually scrape loose and mix back through everything.

That combination of the greens, sesame, egg and crispy rice is ridiculously good. There are dishes you finish because you’re hungry and dishes where you keep digging around the bottom of the bowl because you’re convinced there must be another good piece hiding somewhere. This was the latter.

The galbitang was more complicated for me. The beef itself was excellent. Generous pieces, tender, falling easily from the bone and soft enough that our kids loved it. Plenty of green onion, too. My issue was the broth. I prefer galbitang on the restrained side so I can decide where it goes from there. Same reason I like seolleongtang arriving almost defiantly plain, give me the broth and let me dress it up myself with salt, saeujeot or whatever else I want.

Han Yang has already made those decisions for you. The galbitang broth was noticeably sweet and salty and eventually it became a little much for me. That’s preference as much as criticism, plenty of people will probably love it exactly as it arrives. I just wanted the volume turned down.

The banchan was similarly mixed but mostly good. The napa kimchi was solid and nicely balanced. The kkakdugi was particularly good. The mustard greens, however, were ferociously sour. I like fermented food. These had me physically wincing.

The dipping sauce for the galbi was excellent, though and I kept going back to it. Rice was average and a little dry. It did its job.

Service was good and the whole experience was easy. The room itself has some age on it, tables are fairly close together and depending on where you’re seated you may find yourself with a commanding view of the bathroom door. Nobody has ever requested the chef’s table at the restroom, but here we are.

Somehow I don’t particularly mind any of it. Han Yang feels like a restaurant that knows what it is. It isn’t polished into anonymity. People are here eating giant bowls of soup, mixing rice in scorching stone pots and getting on with their lives. And when a restaurant can put something as good as that gondre bibimbap in front of me, I can forgive a dry bowl of rice and a bathroom with excellent sightlines.

Absolutely coming back. And next time, I’m getting that bibimbap again.“

“I was going back to the yard to part my semi and I thought I’d get something quick to snack on at the corner store but it wasn’t open. The next thing open beside it was LUCKILY Tokyo Grill! I was hungry and I was going to wait til I got home but I decided to get the chicken bowl because I saw it was 9 bucks. I didn’t expect much as I took it to my truck and man was I blown away. The flavor of the chicken was so delicious and the amount of ingredients they put into the bowl is unbelievable. It had green beans pineapple carrot slices cabbage and some other vegetables. I was amazed for how much food they gave me for the plate only being 9 bucks and they put a lot of chicken in there which was a big plus. I didn’t have to dig around for any chicken.That’s why I’m writing this review, hopefully it helps anyone thinking coming to eat here. Oh and I also had really dirty hands and the lady at the cash register which I believe was part owner, gave me some wipes and was really nice. I’m pretty sure their other dishes are great too. I didn’t take a picture of my food because I was really hungry but it’s worth each penny I wasted.“
