“Tried this place and liked. Wings are larger than WingStops so that is great. I think you get a fair deal for your money. As one who has worked in the industry and knows sometimes things happen beyond your control. I liked that they owned up to mistakes made and tried to correct (posted complaints). I have had issues with places and they don't own up and ignore complaints. I understand that some complaints are competitors and or bogus but at least try to seem like you care. They seem to care. Again, I recommend over other local wing places in the area.“
“Excellent Korean fried chicken at reasonable prices. Always busy here but never a wait. We also love the corn cheese, which is about as apt a name for a dish as there ever has been. Our favorite wing flavors are the soy and the sweet and sour. You can only order by the dozen so be prepared for leftovers if you order more than one flavor.“
“Omg it deserves all the stars in the world, super clean, super spacious, very well attended by all the staff, it's very popular, people couldn't stop coming in... that means it's great, I personally like it It looks like the chicken we eat in Colombia, it has no fat omg what else can I say. Super delicious, “
“Been wanting to try Pelicana Chicken for a while now and let me tell you Korean fried chicken is definitely the best fried chicken I've ever had. I had the Hot crispy chicken and let me tell you it's definitely spicy . I love spicy wings and they definitely brought the spice. I would recommend if you're into spicy wings like me but if not they definitely have other flavors to try. Will definitely be coming back to more.“
“Easily a 5-star place, enjoyed everything about them. Food: Mini tier list incoming: S-tier: bb.q Chicken Convoy and now Kyochon Buena Park A-tier: Bonchon Convoy, Cross Street Convoy, Golden Chopsticks/Mandarin B-tier: Krispy Krunchy Chicken We could not be more delighted with our meal! The food was made to order so it came out hot and fresh. The mozzarella sticks had a great coat and long cheese pull. The boneless honey wings were a perfect sweet and salty, with such amazing texture from the double fry. Same for the bone-in wings, great crisp with the skin and soft meat inside; the red sauce is actually spicy rather than the sweet-spicy you may find with Korean dishes. We can't forget the huge portions for a good price; we had leftovers for dinner. Despite the ever-increasing chicken spots in San Diego, someone franchise here please! Service: Mr. Kim welcomed us in, took our order giving us ample time and info to choose our food. We chatted a bit while the cooks made the food, so the 15-20 minute wait went by quick. Down to earth dude who had to work New Year's Eve and the New Year day. Applause you my guy. Additionally, the cook staff was very friendly, offering a sample of their chicken strip while we waited. Atmosphere: Not too busy for Tuesday lunch, just a few to-go orders while we dined in. Dog friendly patio was a plus! Clean dining area indoors and out, bathroom included. Chill music as well. Passed the vibe check.“
“First time here, ordered Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken itself was good, the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Garlic naan was really good.I will not fault the restaurant for the sauce, this is the way they make it,and it’s not bad by any means, just too sweet for my tastes.“
