“Holy smokes, this place is awesome. We are visiting from Denver and although we have tons of cool enough donut shops there, they’re all waaaay too sweet. I think that’s a US thing—to just overwhelm everyone with garbage ingredients and too much sugar. Old Ferry, having originated in Seoul, SK, is different. Korean treats are always so much better than the US because they aren’t drenched in sugar to make them palatable. These donuts are no different. The sweetness level is perfection. The dough is chewy and moist without being undercooked or doughy. And the matcha 🍵 flavor in the stuffed matcha donut was authentic and just plain delicious. Please please please visit and support this business!!! Delicious! We will be back next time we are in LA and will DEFINITELY be visiting when we are finally able to make it over to Seoul. :)“

But the mint is blended Ave the lemonade is green and sour enough to handle. So refreshing!“

“I ordered the đậu xanh rau má (mung bean pasted with pennywort leaves) with half sweet and it was alright. The mung bean paste tasted old and plain, it slumped together and they didn't add much of it in the drink either. The taste of the leaves on the other hand is good, smell like the leaf itself not the artificial. So I can only give them 3pts. When I walked in the place was empty and they were all in the back , they didnt see or hear me w my friend walking in. I had to call them out to take my orders. But in addition in my experience the owner, Jen goes the extra mile... we recently had an issue where delivery was delayed beyond her control and we were on our way to the hospital with our son. She went out of her way to go back to our house for us and put the food into our fridge at home and she actually even delivered the food at the hospital so that we could have healthy things to eat that day while we were in the hospital. It meant a lot and it's customer service that is so rarely seen anymore.. I really appreciate it and will continue to come back over and over whenever we are doing cleanses...“
