About Chicken-To-Go

Chicken-To-Go is a restaurant with a mixed reputation. Some reviewers have enjoyed the food, calling it "absolutely delicious" and "fresh and homemade," while others have found issues with the quality and price. The atmosphere and service are often praised, with friendly, kind, attentive, and prompt service. The country theme was sweet. However, the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant have received criticism, though it is also described as immaculate. Specific dishes have also been highlighted, such as Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner, which has been described as a fabulous experience, a family hit, and a tasty homestyle meal that brings back memories for many customers. The fried chicken dinner and chicken pot pies are favorites and are the best fried chicken around, not greasy at all. The biscuits were on point and the Caesar salad was excellent, and the boysenberry salad dressing is incredible. Despite some complaints, like the pot pie being a little dry, the restaurant still holds a special place for some visitors, who look forward to their meals and appreciate the traditional offerings, like the pot pie, boysenberry pie, and boysenberry flavored cocktails. Overall, while Chicken-To-Go has its flaws, it continues to evoke nostalgia and satisfaction for many diners, and it is highly recommended. Be sure to make a reservation. They validate parking.

The fried chicken was not fresh, the outside was dry, and flimsy. The waiter was also not attentive and could not answer questions about the menu. The amount of food for the money was good, we split the chicken and waffles and the sides were good. Chicken noodle soup was excellent as was the rhubarb and salad. The soggy cabbage was terrible.
I had a party of 8 and our waiter Sal was amazing. He made it very special for my disabled daughter celebrating her birthday.
Best dinner I have had in a while and the $30 for fried chicken dinner is a steal (comes with salad, soup, biscuits, corn, mashed potatoes, fried chicken AND pie)! The sugar-free boysenberry tea was freaking fantastic. I would make the 2 hour drive each way there just to have dinner.
