Tangata Restaurant Reviews
Great food!
The food was delicious and service exceptional.
Food was only ok. Service good. Convenient location if you visit Bowers Museum. Air conditioner was at full blast and set too low for the 4 of us. Menu offered was much more limited than website showed. Disappointed that the Banh Mi and Philly steak sandwiches were off the menu.
Tangata Restaurant offers delightful meals, with standouts being the fresh rolls, tasty Mediterranean vegetable soup, and refreshing raspberry sorbet. The Cobb salad is also popular, although guests should be mindful of portion sizes with added items. Many visitors enjoy the mango salad with shrimp and the banh mi sandwich, finding them delicious and satisfying. Service is consistently excellent, and the restaurant is suitable for groups, making it a good choice before or after visiting the Bowers Museum. The ambience is neat, clean, and modern, with comfortable chairs that support your back. The atmosphere is casual and airy, creating a polite and inclusive environment. Inside the museum, reservations are recommended to secure a table, as the menu is not very large but offers good options. The food quality, service, and pleasant vibe help make it worth a visit, especially when combined with a museum trip. However, it can be noisy when crowded, and espresso drinks are served in smaller cups.
