Starbucks in Dana Point

“I don't usually like to sit and hang out at Starbucks but I had a few minutes before the next thing I had to do and enjoyed my cup of coffee here. The staff was friendly and entertaining, And I love to diversity of the music that was playing. I have been here before and it's amazing how sometimes the music is all about Broadway shows while other times it's beautiful Spanish or French songs. As someone who loves music from all over the place I find this place very inviting.“

“My wife and I ride bicycles, we enjoy being able to stop on our way to the coffee shop, we message our order in and then proceed to the shop. The order is available for us when we arrive, we sit on the patio to enjoy our snack and coffee. Excellent“

“My wife and I went to Starbucks today to get drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a strawberry drink. My wife is pregnant and very sensitive, so she was very clear with her order. She requested a Caramel Crunch Frappuccino without whipped cream because she is allergic to it and cannot have it during pregnancy.

Unfortunately, the staff did not listen to her request and added whipped cream to the drink. We went back and asked for the order to be remade, and we paid again. However, the drink was still made incorrectly.

In the end, we spent more than 20$ for three drinks were made, and not a single one was correct. My wife became upset and had a reaction, and the staff did not make any effort to apologize or make things right. Each time they made a mistake, they asked us to pay again instead of taking responsibility.

The experience was extremely disappointing. My wife’s mood and comfort were affected because of this situation, especially considering that she is pregnant. The staff member who handled our order was an older woman with blonde hair.

This was a very poor experience, and I hope it is taken seriously and addressed to ensure better care and attention for customers, especially those with health concerns.“

“This was one of my best Starbucks experiences. I frequent this location inside the Albertsons when we visit the in laws. The barista working this week is one of the best I have experienced. She gets to know her customers and remembered me the rest of the week. She even changed back to brewing the Thanksgiving blend in the mornings as I asked if they would offer that blend during this week. I hope they can retain her as I have been going to this location for many years now. By far the best Starbucks experience.“

“This Starbucks always makes me feel welcome the moment I walk in. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. I’ve seen them handle some tough situations with difficult customers, yet they remain calm, professional, and kind. It really says a lot about the team here!“
