“Great ice cream with nice portions and generous mix ins as part of the flavors. Sometimes it seems like they are a little understaffed but worth a little wait. Ice cream is made on site. Friendly service. Awesome selection of flavors. It's just a walk up window so the only place to sit is a couple of benches in front. You can take your ice cream down the block or across the street and you can find a ledge to sit on.“

“The server at 1:15pm on August 2nd 2026, at Dana point was so so lovely! She was so knowledgeable and so incredibly friendly, some of the best service I’ve received anywhere.

She was knowledgeable about the store, the owner and the ice cream. She double checked if I had allergens when offering me a sample even though I didn’t tell her I had any. She was super open to answering questions my husband and I had, she had the MOST welcoming, genuine vibe !

The ice cream was also bloody incredible! I had the cherry swirl and salted caramel! Very nicely priced and the best ice cream I’ve had, we’ll be back for sure !

They had many interesting flavors I’ve not seen many other places.. if any !

“We stopped by Dana Point to visit Salt Creek and to my surprise, there was a Rita’s! We’re from Philadelphia so we were very surprised and happy to find a Rita’s! We ordered a blueberry and watermelon gelati and it was delicious! The custard YUM. The Italian ice— perfect consistency! Thank you for your fine establishment!“
