33 Best Ice Cream Shops near Rancho Santa Margarita

“We liked this place and I definitely want to come back. Their yogurt is tastes fresh and delicious, like thick homemade yogurt. There are many different smoothies made with it. We tried dragon fruit yogurt smoothie and melon green tea. I liked that they use real fresh or frozen fruits to make it. And it was fun to see a cute robot bringing food to our table!“

“Delicious and you can still get a good old fashioned malt!“

“i really like crumbl!! i would totally give this 5 stars but this specific one though is closest to my house and they have not done any special hometown picks or fun features that other crumbls do through the app. i have been waiting to see some fun hometown picks for the RSM location but sadly i only see Foothill Ranch doing it. Compared to Foothill Ranch, the RSM crumbl customer service is mediocre, as no one seems like they want to be working there however the cookies are great nonetheless i just hope i start seeing more fun stuff in the app for the RSM location!!“

“Friendly staff and very clean store! We got a large strawberry ice cream with brownies and sprinkles to share. We came for the ice cream but walked out with huge smiles because the service is so sweet and delicious! There were plenty of ice cream cakes readily available in the fridge for purchase! Will definitely be back!
Highly recommend..“

“And great for teenagers, Parents, singles and pups! Ice Snow infused with soft serve. The flavored are endless!!“

“This is a cute, small, and cozy Gelato store located in a plaza where you should come if you have a craving for something sweet or just for desserts! The interior is clean and minimal designs with few tables to sit inside and outside. Parking is free and easily accessible.

The shop offers a wide variety of very unique gelato flavors as well as sorbets which they alternate through. The gelato was creamy, not too sweet, and the flavors were all combined well. All the flavors that we tried were delicious! They even offer affogato with specific flavors of gelato.

Ordered the following:
- Melon Jasmine Tea/Tiramisu
- Ferrero Rocher/Black Sesame
- Hazelnut Milk Chocolate/Caramel
Biscoff Cheesecake
- Pistachio Affogato

The Melon Jasmine Tea was paired well and the tea did not over power (this was one of our favorites! The Tiramisu was not overly sweet and tasted more of a coffee side. The Black Sesame was not over powering and definitely a go to for black sesame lovers. Hazelnut Milk Chocolate was also a favorite!
While trying the Pistachio Affogato you can really taste the nuttiness of the pistachio! Definitely all the flavors we had were all very good!

Also the service was excellent! Really appreciate Jay's assistance as well as providing recommendations of what to try and explaining the flavors to us.

Definitely will come back and try the other flavors that were not on rotation that day. Missed out on the Matcha and Jasmine Matcha flavors!“

“Tried this Persian ice cream and wow—so good! The saffron flavor is super creamy and full of that classic floral, rich taste. My daughters love the chocolate Ice cream and their milk shakes. Totally unique. And the coffee one? Smooth, bold, and not too sweet—just right. Definitely coming back for more!“

“I'm a Hagen daas guy, but I like to switch it up with BR31 every now and then.

This has been the best BR location because they make their ice cream just right. Not too sweet.

However, I'm writing this because of Christina.

Not only is this woman a ray of sunshine, but she makes the best cake for BR ice cream cakes.

Thank you, Christina 🙏🏽“

“The Acai bowls are amazing!! Glazed Donut Fro-yo is another of my favorites!!“

“I went here after a long beach day and everything was a 10/10! the service was great as the staff was very nice and welcoming. The food came out timely and was absolutely delicious. AND the drinks were fantastic. I love that they have vegetarian options for my friend as well. I also went to another location on a sunday afternoon and the live music offered truly added to the experience. I cant wait to find a reason to go back“

“I absolutely love cookies, and after discovering Crumbl it quickly became my go to place for dessert! They have fun new flavors being added to their rotation, while also keeping a few of their signature cookies on the menu.
I personally love the Chocolate Chunk Cookie & I hadn’t seen it on the menu recently.
I called the Laguna Niguel location off of Aliso Creek and La Paz to inquire about whether or not that specific cookie would be on the menu.
The staff member I spoke to (Sam) was very friendly and informed me that they had recently made a “twist” to the classic Chocolate Chunk cookie, combining it with another one of their signature cookies the Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookie. Intrigued by this new concoction I had to order it and taste it for myself! Review TBA 🍪

I just wanted to give a personal thank you to Sam for her information, recommendation & friendly service.“

“Everything about Nekter is amazing their shots, their juices, their cleanses. I love it all and the Ladera Ranch store, the Customer service is amazing.“

“Friendly staff and very clean store! We got a large strawberry ice cream with brownies and sprinkles to share. “My daughters convinced me to get ice cream after our ortho appointment next door and so glad we did! The employee or manager working was Mohammed and was maybe college ago. He was so kind, friendly and well mannered-someone definitely taught him right! My daughters got their delicious ice cream and we will be back very soon after such a welcoming vibe and friendly staff. Thanks again!“

“It was kind of busy with just one employee but he was very focused on each customer's experience. When he got to us it was like we were his first customers of the day although I could see how hard he was working. Great work, nice to see. Oh and the ice cream was really good too.“

“Delicious ice cream and very clean place!“

“Enjoyed a family lunch here. I ordered takeout since our kids were asleep in the car, but they woke up while we waited for it to be cooked so we asked to dine in instead. They were very friendly and accommodating to the switch, didn’t mind our kids at all. The ambiance was clean and quiet (not overly busy or crowded) with Kdrama love songs playing. Staff was attentive and friendly. The drinks were a very good value! Large sizes. We had the matcha latte and the peach lemonade and they were both super tasty. Two adults and 3 young kids shared the shrimp fried rice, one beef banh mi and one pork banh mi. We brought half of one sandwich home for leftovers so the serving sizes were generous. Macarons made a fun special treat at the end of the meal. Everything was very fresh and hit the spot.“

“Issue with reward for the second drink after getting app. Customer service helped out fast virtually. I was not deciding to go again after the issue but after customer service resolved it super fast was happy with the service provided so will come back. Thanks.“

“First time trying the Flamethrower Stackburger and I really liked it. It had a nice spicy kick without completely overpowering the flavor of the burger. Everything tasted freshly made and the toppings were nicely put together. Service was quick and straightforward. I'd order this again.“
