Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Rancho Santa Margarita serves great ice cream that is rich, creamy, and delicious, with reasonable prices and very generous scoops. Popular flavors include pistachio, chocoholic chunk, and Ooh-Doigh. The atmosphere feels fun and welcoming, and the selection of flavors is excellent. The staff are kind, friendly, courteous, and patient, making the experience enjoyable. However, do not buy the hurricane (aka blizzard), as it was ice cream soup and disappointing. The store did seem a little understaffed. Overall, the ice cream tastes fresh and delicious, and portion sizes are great. This place is recommended for anyone who wants a quality treat and great service.
