“I have been to my fair share of Ramen restaurants, and I must say this one takes the cake for being the most aesthetically pleasing. It gives a vibe to the decor, from the bowls to the vase water, and even the chopsticks are mood.As for the food, I ordered a classic California sushi roll, which was excellent, along with their House Ramen bowl, which was fantastic. It had bok choy, egg, and pork. The pork was all tender and just delicious. Sometimes, when you go to restaurants for Ramen noodles, you’ll get a hit or miss, but I will say for this restaurant, there was no hit or miss; the Ramen noodle was just perfection. As for the drink, I ordered the Galaxy, which is butterfly peas, strawberry, lemonade, and mango jelly, and I think something else, but I cannot remember it was great. It was excellent. The service was good.I would say spending a moderate amount of money here for this restaurant, especially given the area it's in.Overall, 10 out of 10.“
“We had no idea we were sitting on a gold mine. We had eaten near by a number of times and never thought to try it - another neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Friendly neighbors mentioned it, they got a big thank you. My chicken mole was so beautifully presented, unlike any I've had before and the taste was equal to its looks. My wife's order of enchiladas suizas de Pollo was incredible but she only gave me one, despite my begging. We were there for brunch but neglected to try the mimosas, a mistake we won't make again. Fellow diners near us did have them and we became very jealous. Our waiter was very attentive and flawless. As we left I wanted to tell the manager how good he was but gave up too soon. Bottom line - we're going back!“
“We love Ironwood and frequent it regularly. One of the draws is Coty. An energetic, sweet, fun and always smiling manager. We will give the new guy a chance .... But I just can't see him being a positive addition. We tried to engage him last night ..but he just lacks the personality for a restaurant with so many young and energetic employees. Time will tell.“
“This is our 3rd visit. We took a friend, she was very impressed! Definitely in our top 10 spots. The plates and presentations are unique. A real find for our area! Always memorable, staff is kind and well versed in presentations and ingredients.“
“This turned out to be a great find. Everyone loved their food. It is clearly made with care and the recipes are delicious. Good portions at reasonable prices. They have a good size patio area as well as plenty of indoor space. We loved the fun repurposed seating like church pews and theater seats.Special shout out to a seriously spicy bloody Mary.My wife only at half her breakfast burrito as it was quite large. She loved the roasted green salsa.Myself and others enjoyed their take on shrimp and grits. Such a great combination of flavors. Not that many people there for Sunday brunch time which was surprising as so many people wait in line for brunch at other places not nearly as good.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, just curb at sidewalk“
“Go to Franco's for happy hour. You'll get a decent margarita for $7 dollars and some tasty apps.m at decent prices. I am a sucker for a delicious large dinner plate. I always get the Tampiqueña. It takes me forever to finish my dinner but I enjoy every bite. The service is always prompt and friendly. It can get loud later on in the day which is why I enjoy going in before 5pm.“
“My family and I have been coming to peppinoes and then here for over 20 hours and I can't tell you enough how amazing the food is and how amazing the owners are! I get the pasta fajole soup and it always makes me better when I'm sick and or when I'm in any type of pain. It's my miracle soup. Now that I am keto they make it for me without the pasta so I can still enjoy my favorite stuff. My daughter loves the Alfredo pizza and everything is homemade and so fresh! I love love this place and you won't be disappointed. What are you waiting for go put in an order, I know I am! ? ?????“
“We first discovered this place in San Diego and now we go here for breakfast every time we get the chance. We love eggs Benedict and they have some original twists on it, and even an option to get two smaller portions of different varieties which is what we like to do. The kids loved the French toast and their hot chocolate is excellent. We don’t drink coffee or alcohol so I can’t comment on that but we try the hot chocolate every where we go and theirs is so good, especially with the cinnamon they add. I don’t think you’d go wrong with any of their menu items.“
“I have frequented the locally world famous Muggs Away for over 30 years now.I say world famous because Ripley's Believe It or Not once came during the annual Mooning of the Amtrak, to see what the mooning was all about. That episode aired around the world, and the bar got calls from all over the world from folks wanting reservations.True story!Great pours, gorgeous bartenders, and one of the coolest hangouts on 5 South!“
“Not just your local dive off the 5fwy, Shooters provides free billards Mondays for industry night and daily life advice from amazing bartenders like Emily and Nicole who steal the regulars hearts with a wink and a smile. I was just thinking how many times I left with a smile and butterflies in my heart. So now that we have established this "go to" spot, come on down near the Costco and amtrak to see for yourself!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of accessibility for ppl with wheel chairs!“
“We come here at least once a month. The food is delicious & they change the menu often, which is delightful. It's not boring. The staff is very friendly & know their menu especially their drinks. Always a pleasant experience.“
“My boyfriend and I went on 1/12/24 to try the tequila tasting. We sat at the bar and Sterling led us through a very knowledgeable conversation about the different types of Asombroso Tequila. He was very sweet and he makes one hell of a margarita! Thank you Sterling for educating us and making us feel welcome. The drinks were very creative and tasty, highly recommend the Aqua Lily and the margarita flight (pictured). We will pay a visit next time we are in town!“
