“I had a wonderful experience at Bon Tofu & Grill (Korean Cuisine) and was impressed by the quality of the food and service. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the visit. The menu offered a great selection of authentic Korean dishes with plenty of delicious options. The tofu dishes were flavorful, fresh, and prepared with great attention to detail. I also enjoyed the grilled items, which had amazing taste and perfectly balanced seasoning. Every dish was served hot and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients was noticeable in every bite. The restaurant was clean, organized, and had a pleasant dining environment. The staff were helpful when explaining menu choices and recommending popular dishes. I appreciated the authentic flavors and traditional Korean cooking style. The service was efficient while still allowing us to enjoy a relaxed meal. It is clear that the chefs put care and passion into preparing each dish. The combination of great food, friendly hospitality, and a comfortable atmosphere made the experience memorable. I enjoyed trying different dishes and discovering new flavors. This is a great place for both Korean food lovers and anyone wanting to try something new. I would definitely return to explore more items from the menu. I have already recommended Bon Tofu & Grill to friends and family who enjoy Korean cuisine. Overall, this restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment that makes every visit enjoyable. I look forward to coming back again.“

“I Can Barbecue was a great experience for us. I went with my family for the first time and we truly enjoyed it. The food is halal, flavorful, and well prepared. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and spend quality time together. We had a lovely time as a family and will definitely be coming back again.“

“We checked out this place for the first time and were not disappointed. Everything on the menu sounded so enticing that we decided to order a variety of items to try—wings, pot stickers, udon noodles, bulgogi plate, and chicken katsu (don’t judge me ?). The spicy wings and pot stickers definitely packed a punch! The bulgogi plate was incredibly flavorful. You won’t be disappointed—definitely give this place a try!“

“We’ve been here four times now, which is probably the best compliment I can give. When Mo Ran Gak is at its best, it’s one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Southern California. When it’s off, the inconsistency keeps it from being a five star experience.
The first visit was outstanding. The galbi was perfectly seasoned, not overly sweet, not overly salty, with great caramelization and tenderness. The naengmyeon was exactly what you hope for. Icy cold with crunchy ice still floating in the broth, crisp vegetables and incredibly refreshing.
The second visit was a completely different experience. The galbi was noticeably drier and under seasoned and the naengmyeon arrived only slightly cold. The ice had already melted, which takes away one of the best parts of great naengmyeon. The slices of beef that come with the noodles have also been consistently dry. That may be traditional, but it’s never been the highlight of the dish.
The service is probably the weakest part of the restaurant. Nobody has ever been outright rude, but it’s difficult to get someone’s attention and the staff generally feels indifferent. You can tell they’re busy, but hospitality often feels like an afterthought. I’d probably rate the service around a 3 out of 5.
The restaurant itself is older but clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and moderate noise. Parking can be frustrating and there’s usually a wait, but that’s expected for a popular spot.
One thing I really enjoy is the complimentary crispy pancake they bring out. Honestly, I’d happily eat an entire plate of it. The banchan are solid overall, though fairly average.
Despite the inconsistency, I still think this is some of the best naengmyeon and especially bibim naengmyeon you’ll find in the Los Angeles area. That’s why we keep coming back. I just hope they can deliver the same level of quality every visit because when they do, it’s genuinely excellent.“

“This place lives up to the name. Double smash, fries, spicy pickles -- an absolute knockout. Crispy-edged patties, juicy center, fries that don't quit, and those spicy pickles are a genius touch. Simple menu, done exactly right. My new go-to smashburger spot in OC. Get the double.“

“I love the Korean build-your-own bowl concept, similar to Chipotle's style! The variety of ingredients and flavors offered is impressive, and the quality of the food is top notch. I was bummed they change their meats but it taste even more delicious. Their pork belly is really good. The portion was generous, and the price is reasonable. It's a great option for a quick, delicious, and healthy meal. Can't wait to go back and try new combinations. The service is the best!“

“This restaurant was a really good one! The service here was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lively and extremely clean! I felt like my food had room to improve, but overall it was a delightful experience. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the area wanting Korean food.“

“I wasn't sure what to expect driving out to Acton, but saw this spot had good reviews and I'm glad I stopped. Got the crispy fried chicken and a bowl of japchae to split with a friend, both came out hot and fresh. The chicken was just salty enough on its own without needing the sauce, definitely the highlight for me. Only thing is the parking arrangement is a little awkward, it shares a lot with a laundromat so it can feel crowded. We sat at one of the outdoor tables because it was nice weather, felt very low key and casual. I'd probably just order takeout next time instead of dealing with the seating, but the food is solid.“

“Honestly surprised this place isn't rated higher! Came at like 6:30 pm seated right away, menu is very straightforward. The quality of the meat is phenomenal and they cook it for you. The kimchis and pickled vegetable array is unreal I literally would eat here over and over again. It's a very straightforward experience but 5/5 stars!“

“My friend and I got their spicy marinated crab and it was soooo good. The perfect texture and flavor. It wasn’t too spicy and it paired so well with rice and seaweed. We also got the beef soup with dumplings and rice cake which was also amazing as well! The workers here are so kind too“

“My kids and I had dinner at Kyung Bok Kung Korean BBQ in Buena Park tonight. Needless to say, the quality of the meat and the food were outstanding.
What truly made our evening special, however, was the exceptional service we received from our server, Ben. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our meal.
I wanted to leave this review to thank Ben once again for helping make our family dinner such an enjoyable and memorable experience. We truly appreciate his excellent service and look forward to coming back!“

“All the banchan tasted fresh and tasted like it was made by a korean mom. The food was good, clean and simple. The seafood pancake was crispy and on point. The beef soup with the glass noodles was delicious 👌 pair with lemon Jinro sochu. You'll thank later. The portions of food they serve are out of control but the quality and taste is by far worth the price which is very reasonable. I would recommend of you are visiting from oit of town, must try. Service is above and beyond and the attention to detail is incredible as well.“

“Tried this place for the first time today and the quality is unreal! I got the ear, tongue, and stomach pork soup. Broth was silky and so much flavor, which can only comes from hours of cooking. All the side dishes compliment the soup really well too especially the salted shrimp! The service was incredibly nice, fast and welcoming. 10/10 definitely coming back soon“

“Legit Chuncheon-style Dakgalbi.
When I go to Korea, I love eating dakgalbi. Specifically, Chuncheon-style, where the meat is cooked in a spicy sauce with vegetables and other items that you can often choose (e.g. rice cakes, ramen, udon noodles, cheese, etc). I've tried to find the best dakgalbi in Seoul, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface.
In the US, I've only had dakgalbi a few times, and before Mhat, I'd been consistently underwhelmed. But Mhat has changed what I think dakgalbi can be in the US. Mhat serves up a version that is excellent, much like the better spots that I've found in Seoul. I didn't get a cheese version, but then again, I'm not really into the Korean trend of putting cheese on everything, so things like dakgalbi and galbi jjim usually go without cheese.
In short, my favorite dakgalbi in the US so far.“

“Kind of a hidden hole in the wall spot a bit off of the main Garden Grove Koreatown strip.
Good set of 반찬 (side dishes) and the portions were large. I ordered the 갈비탕 (rib soup) and it had large pieces of meat that fell off the bone.“

“Voted North OC’s favorite neighborhood Korean spot for decades, we are at Soy Tofu in La Palma. Yes, that one Korean restaurant next to Han Nam Chain aka Super1 in La Palma, CA. It feels like a secret because it’s as cozy and comforting as grandma’s house. This is a spot where everyone goes to for Sundubu (Korean Spicy Tofu Soup served boiling hot), or if they want Naengmyeon (Korean Buckwheat Noodles in a icy tangy broth) on hot summer day, or Bibimbap (Stone-pot Korean mixed rice filled with vegetables and meat with a spicy gochujang sauce and sesame oil)—just something comforting, and what they’re used to. This place has been there forever, and it’s under the same owner who wants to spoil us with her Korean recipes. Beyond the great service, delicious made in house banchan aka Korean sides , fresh ingredients and all the menu favorites, you can scoop your own free ice cream in a cone! I recommend Soy Tofu as a solid spot for anyone who is new or super critical about Korean food. It’s a guaranteed delicious spot.“

“Dawa never disappoint me. I went to the one on Harbor a few times and to this new place recently and I like it. The food is good, and the place is clean. I just don't like the wait, it takes too long for them to make the food even though there was no customer except my party of 3 at that time.“

“Great experience here this past weekend!
The interior is pretty small, so it's mostly a food-to-go spot (which is what we did). Service was so friendly and sweet, even gave us some good recommendations.
We ordered spicy tuna kimbap, bulgogi kimbap, pork cutlet, and fried dumpling for a group of 4 to eat. It was a pretty big portion size! The kimbap tins came with probably 15+ rolls. For $12 - $16 per tin, this was such a good deal.
If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back to enjoy more kimbap combinations at the good prices!“

“Cute shop/stall in the AR market. I think they use some mixture of rice flour for the batter, which makes it a special kind of crispy. The portions are great. We got the boneless, expecting some pieces to be a little dry but we were thoroughly impressed with how juicy ever piece was. The sweet and spicy is more than just the typical gochujang and corn syrup mix, not too sweet and a good tang. We will be coming back and would recommend this place!“

“5 Stars - A Hidden Gem in Huntington Beach!
Real Thai and Korean Corn Dogs is hands down one of my favorite spots in Huntington Beach! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service — and a special shoutout to Jaden, who made the entire experience even better. Super attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind — you can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does.
Now, let’s talk food. The Pad Thai is absolutely perfect — packed with flavor, the noodles are cooked just right, and the balance of sweet, savory, and a little tang is exactly what you’d hope for. And the Panang Curry Chicken? Out of this world. Rich, creamy, perfectly spiced, and the chicken is always tender. It’s comfort food at its finest.
The Korean corn dogs are a fun twist too — crispy, cheesy, and ridiculously satisfying. Great quick bite with plenty of flavor options.
Overall, Real Thai & K Corn Dogs is the kind of place that hits every mark: amazing food, great vibes, and top-tier service. Ask for Jaden if you go — he’ll take great care of you!“

“If you want the kind of Korean comfort food that wraps you in a big cozy blanket and whispers, “You’re home now,” Jang Mo Jip is the place.
Nothing flashy, no Instagram gimmicks — just steaming bowls of hearty soup, beautifully chewy dumplings (I LOVE their dumplings, they’re my ride-or-die here), piles of fresh kimchi, and honest, satisfying flavors.
The atmosphere is no-frills but exactly what you want when you’re craving soul-warming sul lung tang or a healing haejang guk.
The banchan? Solid, classic, and plentiful. You leave full, happy, and with the kind of quiet joy only a truly good meal can give.
Not trying to impress, just trying to feed you well — and that’s what keeps me coming back.
Comfort food at its finest.“

“I tried the Bossam and Squid Stone Rice at Ondam, and both were amazing! The Bossam was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fresh sides. The Squid Stone Rice was hot, savory, and full of flavor, with a delicious crispy layer of rice at the bottom. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Definitely a five-star meal, and I would gladly order both dishes again!“

“Staying in a hotel nearby and wanted something tasty. This place was recommended, especially as in walking distance.
Fairly minimal selection of dishes, but what I selected sounded good. Was asked what options I wanted, and they didn't try to upsell either which was a nice change.
The food I got arrived quickly and it was really good. Their hot sauce was just about ok for me but they had hotter!
Good portion size and I was more than happy with the quality, taste and presentation.
The only reason for the atmosphere score is that it was pretty quiet when I went.
If this type of food is your thing, then you can't go wrong here.“

“Sooo delicious. We ordered the soft shell crab appetizer and it had such a delicate fried flavor. It hit the spot. It paired perfectly with the citrusy dressing in the side salad. We ordered the jalapeño bomb and Jessica roll. They're both shrimp tempura rolls but where the jalapeño bomb was creamy and spicy the Jessica roll tasted bright and fresh. We left full and very satisfied.“

“Takayuki Dessert offers a refreshing and modern dessert experience that pairs perfectly with a meal next door at BCD Tofu House. The shop focuses on clean flavors, soft textures, and visually appealing presentations that feel both comforting and elevated. The desserts strike a balance between sweetness and lightness, making them enjoyable without feeling heavy. Service is friendly and efficient, and the environment stays calm even during peak dessert hours. The menu offers enough variety to satisfy both classic and adventurous dessert preferences.
The space is clean, bright, and easy to relax in, making it a pleasant stop for a quick treat or a slow, casual dessert break. The vibe and music is on point and the owner is just such a bright and genuine soul that will brighten anyones day! Though the atmosphere is enough to hang out with friends, the real star of the show is the food!
Nothing felt rushed, with each dish being made to order with honest ingredients. Each dish felt balanced and creative, just quality comfort food. If you’re in a bit of a time pinch, they can also take your order through the phone in advance.
Definitely worth checking out, easily becoming one of your Go-to spots!!“

“Food was pretty good and the service was great. We went around noon on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Our food came out quick and hot.
We got the tteokbokki with fried squid and another order with beef brisket. I ordered mine spicy and my wife wanted mild but we couldn't tell the difference between the two. The spice level wasn't too hot for me (I like it really spicy) but my wife thought hers was too hot.
I also had the soondae, which was pretty good. The skin around it was a bit crunchy for me but some may prefer it that way.“
