“We got the matcha einspanner and matcha pandan, I like the cream top on the matcha einspanner, there's a hint of salty flavor to it , matcha was pretty strong. Matcha pandan was unexpectedly creamy and good balanced. But the downside was the service, cashier didn't ask if we want to adjust the sugar level, and we were first time here and we didn't know how sweet was regular sugar so we were kinda unsure and asked to adjust it to lower.“

“The spot is super cute and the gal who made my tea was so friendly and helpful. Quick too I swear she made my drink in like a minute. I got the matcha blueberry latte slightly less sweet with oat milk instead of dairy and with boba. It's really good matcha and the blueberry is a sweet pairing for it. 🫐 There was plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. They have some cute t-shirts and bags and claw machines which is fun and a sweet little photo op but this looks like a nice place to hang out for a bit with your matcha and get some work done. I will definitely be back.“

“I’ve been to a lot of boba shops, and this is one of the few that keeps me coming back. The drinks are consistently good, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.

What really stands out is how willing they are to customize drinks. Every time I’ve had a special request or wanted to tweak an order, they’ve been happy to help. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find and makes a big difference.

Prices are great! The Thai Tea Blossom was great and tapioca is always on par. The Vietnamese coffee with the Thai tea is my favorite. The ingredients taste fresh, the boba has great texture, and the drinks are made with care.

“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “We mostly order the matcha storm in this location. But I personally love it. So far one of the best matcha within OC . Especially with the pudding its very nice. My kid loves the strawberry milk tea too. The spot is not too crowded and a lot of parking. They also have lots of promos so dont forget to signup.“

“Ambrosia Tea is easily one of the best boba spots I’ve been to. The shop is super clean, which already sets it apart, and the overall vibe is really welcoming.

One of the coolest parts is the claw machines, they’re actually winnable. I ended up winning on my second try, which never happens, so that alone made the experience memorable.

The Thai tea was excellent, really authentic and true to how it should taste, not overly sweet or watered down like some places. You can tell they care about quality.

Also, a huge plus, they let me split my drink, which is something not every shop is willing to do. Small detail, but it makes a difference.

“Stopped by on late Sunday night for some refreshments after a long day. Easy parking since they have big parking lot for the plaza. Easy & self explanatory menu and self order via kiosk - they do have cashier but he was busy with making drinks and waffles. The place is nice and clean with several tables & chairs inside for dine in. While waiting for our orders, there are more folks coming in. The drinks are great & refreshing, hit the spots. The waffle is great too, crispy & crunchy outside and soft inside. Overall good drinks & foods with good services and decent prices.“

“I’ve tried a lot of boba spots in OC, and Umacha really stands out. I ordered the matcha mango and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique drinks I’ve had in a while.

The matcha is smooth and high quality, and the mango adds just the right amount of sweetness and freshness without overpowering it. It’s super balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy—just clean and refreshing.

The texture was on point too, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they actually put thought into their drinks instead of just loading them with sugar.

“Rooster Tea had a nice selection of teas available. Their drinks were really sweet here, especially the fruit teas. I should have gotten 50-75% sweet. The drinks were better after I diluted the milk tea with milk and the fruit teas with 3x water.

* Taro Coconut Milk Tea (non caffeine) 4.5/5 - This was a very nice drink. It had a strong, smooth taro taste which I really liked. The coconut milk was pretty understated, and I didn't really taste it.

* Strawberry Hisbiscus Tea 3/5 - This was a sweet drink, but the flavors didn't really come through. 100% sweet was too much for me and I had to add more water to make it drinkable.“

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

“I went a little before opening because I needed my morning coffee, and the staff was super nice and welcoming. He recommended the Krak Coffee with sea salt cream on top, and it was so good! It’s a Vietnamese coffee that’s smooth, not too strong, and perfectly sweet. Definitely coming back to try their signature milk tea next time.“

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

“My husband and I have been regulars for years. Our favorite drink has always been the Oreo green brûlée milk tea. We like the crunchy Oreo bits, cream flavor, hint of floral green tea, and soft boba.

This latest visit on Saturday night,
the boba was soft and mushy rather than chewy/bouncy as previous visits. Not sure if it was a one off situation.

They’ve transitioned their Fivestars points system to a new rewards system. We noticed our points were not showing, but after contacting the posted email address they retrieved and added the missing points.

Parking is always easy and plenty and the A/C in the store is always strong which are pluses.“

Came for their BOGO Pistachio Cloud Jasmine tea which had a strong jasmine taste and creamy pistachio top with diced pistachios. I don't usually get cream tops, but the sweetness balanced out the bitterness of the jasmine tea since I get it less sweet. Their boba was great! Soft and chewy!“
