“Airoma had the best matcha. It’s so tasty and it’s probably the only matcha place that my boyfriend craves matcha. There was a little bit of a line that wraps around the corner but it goes by pretty fast. We got the pandan matcha ($7.50). The store itself is small and only one bathroom. It can be kind a loud but I still see people study there. The drink comes out quick. Make sure to stir your matcha. Tastes so good!“

“Tropical fruit tea was BomB! Lots of fruit, 75% is perfect, and my stomach didnt feel bloated! The male cashier was very nice and the woman who made my drink hooked it up with more toppings inside (which was a little too much bc i couldn't suck up fruit with the juice bc it was too crowded in the cup), but good service, humble workers and a good first impression so I will def be back for more! 😋. “I’ve been to a lot of boba shops, and this is one of the few that keeps me coming back. The drinks are consistently good, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.

What really stands out is how willing they are to customize drinks. Every time I’ve had a special request or wanted to tweak an order, they’ve been happy to help. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find and makes a big difference.

Prices are great! The Thai Tea Blossom was great and tapioca is always on par. The Vietnamese coffee with the Thai tea is my favorite. The ingredients taste fresh, the boba has great texture, and the drinks are made with care.

“The strawberry smoothie is made with fresh strawberries and is delicious. The owner made ours with a modification without batting an eye, and when our four year old began sobbing after spilling hers, he came outside to see what was going on. As soon as he saw what happened, he took her smoothie and filled it up and put new angel wings on it for her. It was so sweet. He takes a lot of pride in his restaurant and it shows. Bravo.“

“We popped in and ordered several different drinks. The cashier clerk was friendly and patient. Plenty of seating inside. Drinks came out quick. Lots of parking in the plaza. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. I tried:

Mango latte with butterfly pea tea: 5/5 beautiful color (see photo), subtle mango flavor, very smooth.

Peach lychee: 4/5 nice and refreshing, good amount of sweetness at 50% sugar.“

“Great first experience! The location was easy to find with plenty of parking, and I really liked the atmosphere inside. The decor and wall art were nice, there was plenty of seating, and all of the employees I encountered were friendly and courteous.

Ordering was really convenient with their touchscreen self-service kiosk, which was very easy to use.

I came for the mango sticky rice, and it did not disappoint! This was actually my first time trying mango sticky rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly, the mango was fresh and perfectly ripe, and the presentation was nice. For only $6, I thought the portion was a great value too. I took it to go and even after a 15-minute drive home, it was still at a great temperature.

I also saw that they have a mango sticky rice smoothie on the menu, which I definitely plan on trying next time! They have a nice variety of other menu options as well. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking them out!“

The flavor was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. It was exactly what I needed on a warm day. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “I got the winter melon tea latte with the brown sugar mochi boba and my friend got the einspanner matcha. I got 100% sweetness and the winter melon tea latte was very light in taste. The winter melon tea aroma is slightly there, but I wouldn’t describe it as a watered down taste at all, just very light. The mochi boba was very good, it’s sweet, soft, and chewy. Definitely a good alternative to normal boba, I highly recommend trying the mochi boba. The matcha was also very good and had a good earthiness taste with slight sweetness. The einspanner cream top is salty and sweet, which helps to add sweetness to the matcha.

The employee took their time making these drinks and I think the quality showed from their efforts. I would come here again! I highly recommend this place for those who don’t want super sugary/sweet tea.“

“Decided to stop by here after going to the LA fitness to get some business done. As I previously stated, there are many different types of tea places here in OC. Still, I'm glad I stopped by, since it's been a really hot summer, I really enjoyed that this place offers nice cold and refreshing smoothie type tea drinks with boba! I ordered a mango type and was very satisfied. The staff were friendly and professional. Interior and exterior are clean. Parking is spotty at best because they share a public parking lot with many different businesses including the gym. Still I am very happy I stopped by and will be returning very soon.“

I also love getting their dragon fruit lemonade slush. Though the taste sometimes feels too sweet even after adjusting the sugar level it’s still good. Even better that they allow for you to choose your sugar! My diabetic uncle loves the yakult smoothie. The customer service is always amazing :)

“Best eel rice plate we've had in OC so far ✨

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

“Located next to Vừa Khó Bo is this tea shop. It had a self kiosk to place your order and two employees in the back.

They offer fresh tea, milk tea, fruit tea, smoothies, coffee, cheese foam and matcha.

I couldn’t decide between banana matcha latte or pandan matcha latte. I went with the latter. It’s made with whole milk and the matcha is ceremonial grade with pandan flavor. Not too sweet and the matcha was not bitter or grassy, it was perfect. I would return to try the banana matcha. They only have one size cup to offer.“

“Rooster Tea is a charming little tea shop in Costa Mesa with a lot of personality packed into a small space.

The first thing you’ll notice is the huge rooster mural right when you walk in. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details that give it a cozy and welcoming vibe.

The woman behind the counter was incredibly bubbly and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We kept it simple and ordered a Jasmine Green Tea and a Strawberry Cloud Matcha. Both drinks were refreshing, well-balanced, and made with quality ingredients. The jasmine tea had a clean, fragrant flavor, while the Strawberry Cloud Matcha was creamy, lightly sweet, and a fun twist on a classic matcha.
