“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “Coming all the way from Connecticut (boba tea shop owners back home) we wanted to try California’s Boba tea shop! We came Wednesday 4:45 pm and ordered 4 drinks. None of us were greeted. The young woman working with nice make up on had “I don’t want to be bothered energy.” Not one person said hello or acknowledged anybody (I was with 1 other adult and 4 kids). Poor customer service. We all got the brown sugar milk boba. Boba had an after taste of tap water so I’m not sure if that is kind of like the taste of the Boba or if it was cooked in tapwater. The brown sugar milk was decent tasting despite the interesting tap water boba after taste.“

“Wow incredibly delicious, the only specialty Tea shoppe around! Matcha, Boba, tea, coffee, slushies! Its incredibly delicious with such interesting & unique flavors! I was blown away. I got the buckwheat milk tea & guava slushy! Both in their own respects were so delicious!! Love love love! My new favorite in Irvine. 😋😍 The owner was so sweet btw, so say hello and enjoy his cafe! “The bowl is very big comparing to the price. The quality of sago, boba, jelly, popping pearls excellent! Love that there is fresh peach and it doesn’t taste too sweet or artificial. Life changing! First trying dessert of this type that Is done 100% right. Run don’t walk! :) Big respect to the owners“

I had the poke nachos, but please request that the wontons are warmed first. It really brings the cold poke, warm wontons, and the remainder of flavors beautifully together. I most certainly will visiting YNK upon my return to The Irvine Marriott.“

“You can smell the fragrance of the tea coming from the shop. There almost always a line here at this cafe. It would be easier and faster to order on their app and be able to pick up. I ordered the cloud matcha latte and it was really good. You can taste a bit of the tea and matcha in this drink. Definitely would come back to try their other drinks!“

(Their presentation is awesome 👏) Even the drinks that I normally don't like- here, they taste great! I also love how this store has many different options of boba, so that's definitely a pro. Overall, I completely recommend Boba Square for anybody who's craving a quick sip of boba!“

“Got the matcha mojito with boba. It's very refreshing and was a handmade matcha mocktail. Boba is chewy and fresh. I got it half sweet and it was still very sweet.

“Please bring back the Longjin cheese cap tea!

The Longjin cheese cap tea is delicious and is the low caffeine tea option I need. I was planning come back long term just for this drink.

But I discovered recently that it's no longer on the menu. This would have been a five star review for the Longjin tea alone.

I would highly recommend others to try the Longjin tea if/when it is back for it strikes a perfect balance of tea flavor, bouquet and caffeine.“

“Their brown sugar cream brûlée drink IS THE BEST EVER!!! it been 1 month since my Hawaii vacation and I cannot stop thinking about it ... so I’ve been googling other locations and luckily found out there’s one in Irvine CA which is only 1 hour away from me and let me tell you I will not mind driving an hour all the way from San Diego just to get one I LOVE IT! 😍“

“The quality of the food was amazing, variety of toppings was good. Decent quantity of food as well, the only thing I would knock them on is it is a *little* more expensive than I would like. It is Irvine though so I can't be too mad. Overall I would make this one of my staple lunch spots.“
