Hospitality grade was beyond what I would expect from a small pizza establishment. Gentleman at the counter presented my pizza my like a fine wine ordered in a restaurant. Offered ranch at no charge. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “Ambrosia Tea is easily one of the best boba spots I’ve been to. The shop is super clean, which already sets it apart, and the overall vibe is really welcoming.

One of the coolest parts is the claw machines, they’re actually winnable. I ended up winning on my second try, which never happens, so that alone made the experience memorable.

The Thai tea was excellent, really authentic and true to how it should taste, not overly sweet or watered down like some places. You can tell they care about quality.

Also, a huge plus, they let me split my drink, which is something not every shop is willing to do. Small detail, but it makes a difference.

This is a “no-frills” boba/milk tea vendor. Not in the “hole in a wall” sense (very clean, minimalist deco), but the options are fairly limited. Most of their products are based on “high mountain” or “mushu dragon oolong”, if I am remembering these names correctly. No “pudding” or “Oreo”, etc…

The quality is incredible. And it is consistent. The milk tea options vary from basic to flavors including black sesame and almond. REAL black sesame, REAL almond. They even have a lavender milk tea that has mildly floral and not overwhelming taste. None of these artificial colors either. The milk tea uses real (powdered) milk, so it is not diluted and full of stabilizers that affect quality.

The fruit teas are also wonderful, for something milder. Again, the flavors taste true to their namesakes, and I’ve had almost all. Recommend the basil seeds for your fruit teas! Most of my caffeine for work comes from this shop. Cannot recommend enough.“

The girl working was very efficient and was straightforward with us letting us know that the drinks were going to take a little bit longer than usual as there were several orders ahead of us and she was the only one at the moment. 2. Why are syrups full of artificial flavors? e.g RED40 in the strawberry!? That stuff needs a warning label in Europe but here we lap it up like a pig plunging into slop. Probably a supplier issue- but surely spend a little more and get some better quality ingredients?
I ended up with a tea, and sure enough it was sweetened… can’t get away from all the sugar. I’ll try the black tea next time- maybe that’ll be sugar free!

“I’ve tried a lot of boba spots in OC, and Umacha really stands out. I ordered the matcha mango and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique drinks I’ve had in a while.

The matcha is smooth and high quality, and the mango adds just the right amount of sweetness and freshness without overpowering it. It’s super balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy—just clean and refreshing.

The texture was on point too, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they actually put thought into their drinks instead of just loading them with sugar.

“THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOBA PLACE! I can tell there’s an emphasis on quality. Especially with the increased price of bobas nowadays, I expect all boba places to have this level of quality. This is well worth the price. I love the presentation of the boba drinks. Each of the drinks are made with individual tea bags that are sourced from sources that I’d say is noticeably different from any other boba place.

The service is kind and incredibly professional. What other boba place allows you to taste the boba and get another if it is not up to your standard? Each person here is dressed nicely and allows you to enjoy boba in a way like no other. They really keep the whole place with a pristine level of care.

“My husband and I have been regulars for years. Our favorite drink has always been the Oreo green brûlée milk tea. We like the crunchy Oreo bits, cream flavor, hint of floral green tea, and soft boba.

This latest visit on Saturday night,
the boba was soft and mushy rather than chewy/bouncy as previous visits. Not sure if it was a one off situation.

They’ve transitioned their Fivestars points system to a new rewards system. We noticed our points were not showing, but after contacting the posted email address they retrieved and added the missing points.

Parking is always easy and plenty and the A/C in the store is always strong which are pluses.“
