“The spot is super cute and the gal who made my tea was so friendly and helpful. Quick too I swear she made my drink in like a minute. I got the matcha blueberry latte slightly less sweet with oat milk instead of dairy and with boba. It's really good matcha and the blueberry is a sweet pairing for it. 🫐 There was plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. They have some cute t-shirts and bags and claw machines which is fun and a sweet little photo op but this looks like a nice place to hang out for a bit with your matcha and get some work done. I will definitely be back.“

“I’ve been to a lot of boba shops, and this is one of the few that keeps me coming back. The drinks are consistently good, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.

What really stands out is how willing they are to customize drinks. Every time I’ve had a special request or wanted to tweak an order, they’ve been happy to help. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find and makes a big difference.

Prices are great! The Thai Tea Blossom was great and tapioca is always on par. The Vietnamese coffee with the Thai tea is my favorite. The ingredients taste fresh, the boba has great texture, and the drinks are made with care.

More than anything, this place feels like a business that genuinely values its customers. Great drinks, fair prices, and friendly people. It’s become my go-to boba spot, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a local place to support.“

“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. My kid loves the strawberry milk tea too. The spot is not too crowded and a lot of parking. They also have lots of promos so dont forget to signup.“

“Ambrosia Tea is easily one of the best boba spots I’ve been to. The shop is super clean, which already sets it apart, and the overall vibe is really welcoming.

One of the coolest parts is the claw machines, they’re actually winnable. I ended up winning on my second try, which never happens, so that alone made the experience memorable.

The Thai tea was excellent, really authentic and true to how it should taste, not overly sweet or watered down like some places. You can tell they care about quality.

Also, a huge plus, they let me split my drink, which is something not every shop is willing to do. Small detail, but it makes a difference.

“I’ve tried a lot of boba spots in OC, and Umacha really stands out. I ordered the matcha mango and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique drinks I’ve had in a while.

The matcha is smooth and high quality, and the mango adds just the right amount of sweetness and freshness without overpowering it. It’s super balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy—just clean and refreshing.

The texture was on point too, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they actually put thought into their drinks instead of just loading them with sugar.

“Friendly staff + gr8 service! Funky decor + atmosphere.BUT issues which owners can consider: 1. Where’s the recycle bin? Everything is single use plastics, but there was only 1 bin for general trash for landfill.
2. Why are syrups full of artificial flavors? e.g RED40 in the strawberry!? That stuff needs a warning label in Europe but here we lap it up like a pig plunging into slop. Probably a supplier issue- but surely spend a little more and get some better quality ingredients?
I ended up with a tea, and sure enough it was sweetened… can’t get away from all the sugar. I’ll try the black tea next time- maybe that’ll be sugar free!

“THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOBA PLACE! I can tell there’s an emphasis on quality. Especially with the increased price of bobas nowadays, I expect all boba places to have this level of quality. This is well worth the price. I love the presentation of the boba drinks. Each of the drinks are made with individual tea bags that are sourced from sources that I’d say is noticeably different from any other boba place.

The service is kind and incredibly professional. What other boba place allows you to taste the boba and get another if it is not up to your standard? Each person here is dressed nicely and allows you to enjoy boba in a way like no other. They really keep the whole place with a pristine level of care.

I got my regular jasmine milk tea with boba and Crystal boba half sweet. Good size and great drink. Lots of parking. It’s not a big place. Just a few seats. Would come back. Put your number in for rewards. Buy 9 get 1 free.Pricing is awesome. 4 big drinks for $25. And 2 of us got 2 toppings!!“

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

This latest visit on Saturday night,
the boba was soft and mushy rather than chewy/bouncy as previous visits. Not sure if it was a one off situation.

They’ve transitioned their Fivestars points system to a new rewards system. We noticed our points were not showing, but after contacting the posted email address they retrieved and added the missing points.
