“We just had our mandatory Hmart food court date this weekend and tried out KZ Mori. For $19 we got the Mix Katsu Combo with Curry served on the side. The tray came with miso soup, cabbage salad and katsu sauce! Pickled radishes were at the counter for self service as well! We were there late afternoon so the wait for food was quick, about 10 minutes before our order was done. Portions are huge, we ended up sharing the entree between the two of us! Light batter on the katsu slices, with such a good crunch to each bite! The chicken tasted a tad juicier than the pork but overall each bite was a great compliment to the curry! Definitely a great stop for a good deal and a great lunch!“

“My curiosity was rewarded. I had the 4 garlic wing, fries special, $11, and it was delicious. I didn't realize a Vietnamese- style chicken wing even existed. The meat was very tender, and one of the drum sticks was about the size of a squash ball. The fries were separated from the chicken, and very nicely and crisply fried.

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.“

“I have been here so many times I can't even count. I brought all my friends here too. Open late and their food is delicious. They are known for their noodle dishes, but I have tried their appetizers as well. The fried calamari is delicious & one of my favorite!

I've also tried their fried tofu and chicken wings. The chicken wings were heavily battered, but it was tasty.

I recommend their taro bao and custard baos for dessert. They give you the option for it to be served warm. ALSO they give you complimentary herbal jelly which is oh so refreshing and serves as a nice pallate cleanser.

What I don't recommend: Don't get their fried rice/rice dishes. This is a noodle place that specializes in noodle dishes... Don't get rice 😂“

Blame covid for the price increases and there are sign posted to make you aware of the increase. it's the best food and most reasonable prices in town. if you cant afford a 11 dish then don't buy or complain about it. “First time discovering Rodeo 39, I ordered Chicken Katsu and Shrimp plates. The food was very tasty and well cooked with a side of delicious Katsu sauce for dipping. The Katsu had a little kick to it but not too spicy. The only disappointment was no vegetable offerings even as sides. I would have liked a side of vegetable tempura.
The chicken was cooked just right, great taste and juicy. Mine looked like breast meat unlike other reviews that said thighs.
It's probably possible to get vegetable sides from another place in the food court, we will definitely visit again to try others like Ramen or Hawaiian food.“

“Our dinner was delightful and authentic thai dishes , the staff were kind & attentive and the food service was quick and affordable as well, that’s why we did ordered a lot, because it was reasonable, thou unable to take more food pictures .I highly recommend the beef curry, steamed chicken , pad Thai, chicken satay skewers , crispy fish pompano’ , crab fried rice , mango sticky rice for dessert . We will surely comeback to this restaurant again.

We would like to suggest that extra staff will be hire especially for dinner and weekends, more training for new FOH staff , especially maintaining on cleanliness for the better, the menu’s should be change , cleaner , more readable and well laminated.. Thank you !!!“

Everything on the menu sounded so enticing that we decided to order a variety of items to try—wings, pot stickers, udon noodles, bulgogi plate, and chicken katsu (don’t judge me ?). The spicy wings and pot stickers definitely packed a punch! The bulgogi plate was incredibly flavorful. You won’t be disappointed—definitely give this place a try!“

I had the best experience at Tabu Shabu! I sat out on the patio with my dog and it was absolutely perfect—comfortable, welcoming, and such a great vibe. I ordered a glass of wine and started with the cucumber appetizer and edamame, both super fresh and full of flavor. The highlight was the salmon bowl with rice…so delicious, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and they made me (and my pup!) feel totally at home. I think everyone came out at some point to visit with me and my pup. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and a dog-friendly spot for a drink and apps (cant do hotpot outside, but still worth it).“

“So glad we stumbled upon this spot! The pho was delicious, but the real star was the extra crispy noodles(they’re basically like chips), and my son absolutely loved them. The portions are huge with plenty of meat, so it’s definitely worth the price. We actually shared two bowls between the three of us and it was more than enough. “The spot is located on the premises of the Garden Grove Home Depot. They have three tables set up right by their spot with a total of seven chairs.

The staff, which included a man and a woman were nice.

I had the beef teriyaki bowl and I was surprised it was so delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, the teriyaki sauce was not too rich in consistency or watery, and not overwhelmingly sweet, it was perfect. The rice had the perfect texture too. 5/5

I also had a corn dog and it was the first thing I ate. Hehe he, I was pretty hungry. It was indeed better than other corn dogs I've had.

I also witnessed a belligerent woman who was being so rude and disrespectful to the staff and the staff remained calm and very respectful after the woman was making all sorts of rude comments. Props to them for handling the situation with the utmost professionalism and respect despite the way they were being mistreated.

Overall, I had a positive experience with some delicious beef teriyaki and I'll be going for more. If you have not visited them I highly recommend you do.“

“Friday 4th of July Lunch at Chao Nieu 35 with my sister. Ordered 2 dozen oysters Vietnamese style sauces and escargot butter garlic sauce and filet mignon with glass noodles. Delicious and great price for $1 oyster.

Service staffs were nice and friendly however very limited in English. Be sure to bring your own translator.

“I loved this place when it was Tokyo teriyaki. Even when they changed their name to Poke Yaki, they still sold their original teriyaki menu in addition to the poke. Well, the days of that teriyaki chicken bowl with fried shrimp are over, and its too bad because they had the best teriyaki in town. Their poke, however, is quite excellent, but ill never go back because they gave up on a good thing for something else I dont want as much.

The flavours are so good, his dumplings are made of chicken, and although they are very delicately made, it's hard to tell they are made of chicken. “Houston Location: We arrived at our reservation and waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Once seated, we were uninstructed on how to order. Sushi chefs explained the process. Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess.
