“After seeing this place on grun with Greg's Facebook, I decided to try it. I got the loco moco plate, island beef rib plate and the 2 for $5 teriyaki spam masubi. I enjoyed the masubi. It was pretty flavorful and well made. The island beef run was also very delicious. For the price and for 3 beef ribs, it was well worth it. The loco moco plate was also good but unfortunately there was no gravy. So I docked my review by 1 star. Loco moco isn't loco moco without gravy. Other than that, I recommend this place. Don't order online, it's $4 more online. Just order in person or see if you can call in an order.“

“The food tasted great. The portions were massive. I love the island vibe of their decor and music. But the person who took our order was being short with us. It was probably just a bad day for that person, but I don't like that we, as customers, had to experience that type of attitude from an employee. Don't get it twisted, I will still be going back. I just hope we get better customer service next time. A tiny hiccup in an otherwise good experience.“

“The most authentic Hawaii experience you can find outside of Hawaii! Not only was the storefront decorated with Hawaii themed memorabilia that made me feel at home but the service and food was A+We ordered two spam musubi ( a Hawaii classic) the Teri Mix Plate and Seafood Mix Plate.First off, everything is made to order NO food is sitting around and the food is FRESH!All the food was excellent and had amazing flavor reminding me of home! The spam musubi and Mac salad were amazing and it felt like I was still in Hawaii!I 1000% recommend this restaurant and you should definitely stop by when coming to Disneyland!P.S. “Today I was in search for Hawaiian barbecue. I usually go to the loft but today I wanted to try something new and I found this place on yelp. Oh my God, this place was amazing. I got the Hawaiian style poke and seriously so bomb and so fresh. I also got the big beef plate with a short rib for my wife. She fell in love with his place and said we have to go every week now. This place is so good. Customer service was awesome. The ambience had surfboards old pictures seem like I was in Maui. We will definitely be back.“

“I stopped coming here a couple months ago because of the rude cashier and decided to order today. I called to make an order to go and the same cashier Anna answered. She put me on hold and after a minute I heard it hang up, after she left the line busy because it wouldn’t even ring. It’s always the same girl giving us terrible service but that was just the cherry on top. The younger guy cashier was there when I pulled up and honestly saved it he’s very nice otherwise I’d never come back here again. Everyone at my job that comes here said the same thing too.“

“I stopped in on a whim to see what they had and got a Rollrrito (their Oahu) and it was phenomenal. Lots of fresh fish & all the ingredients bright, vibrant and crisp (for the veggies). I have was back there within a week as I craved their fresh, delicious food. The staff are great as went last night at 10 min before closing. They were just as friendly, nothing was packed up (pre-closing) and it was beyond delicious & hit the spot. I will be frequenting this place for a while now. I have only had the rollrrittos so far but I know everything there is all good!!!“

“This place rocks, I go here generally every couple weeks if I can and the food is always delicious. The teriyaki beef bowl is what I get most often. The meat and rice are well cooked and their sauce is one of the best I’ve had. Their portions are pretty generous and sometimes enough to save for a small meal leftover. I also often get either the kalbi or beef ribs on the side and I love both of those too.
The second you walk in you know the place is legit, there’s the sweet smoke of great barbecue in the air and the people at the counter are always so nice, I’ve never had an issue with service. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!“

“This is hands down my favorite Poke restaurant in LA. All of the staff are so kind and polite, the ingredients are extremely fresh, and the PORTION SIZES are INSANE! Most Poke places are skimpy on the protein scoops or toppings and sauces, but this place?! These guys hook it up fatter than any other restaurant I have been to, hands down! They even ask you if you want more, or less, or offer to customize your bowl down to every detail you wish! The same sweet ladies are always working there and treat me so well, the way they make my bowls every time are always spot on. I couldn't be happier with the food and service here. You get way more than what you pay for going here, one bowl can last you 2 days because of the amount of food in it. I am a bodybuilder so I have a huge appetite and always get the large sized bowl with as many toppings as I can and they're always happy to oblige to my requests. Don't think twice about going here, you will be blown away by how delicious and amazing this PokeBar location is!!!!“

“I was able to come here twice while on business. I did enjoy all the variety of toppings to the 3 or 5 protein bowl. The rice was great for the foundation.I tried the volcano 2 and spicy mayo combo and couldn't really taste the heat at all. Probably needed more flavoring. A but bland. But the bowl size and portion for 5 protein is good. 15.99. Adding an avocado baby scoop is probably worth it at 1.50 extra to give your bowl extra texture. Enjoyed the bowl. Spice up the sauces.“

“Chose this place without expectation after hours of play time at Kid's Empire, an indoor playground nearby. We were tired and hungry and ready to grub. Guess what? THE FOOD WAS BOMB!!!My son and I shared the CHICKEN COMBO -Chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki with rice and macaroni salad. Huge portion. Chicken was cooked perfectly and Mac salad was on point! They ate their whole plates and I only ate half, trying to save room for ice cream at Afters next door. I would say I enjoyed my plate except for the ground beef patties were tough. I wish they were more tender like burger patties at fast food restaurants, but the gravy was better than all of the other local Hawaiian style restaurants around since it tasted real and not from a can or dry mix taste like other places.
