“Made to order meat. Flavorful and not dry. Meat was a bit more fatty than expected. Macaroni salad wasn’t my favorite heavier mayo taste, but know a lot of people may like it. Kimchi & spicy cucumber was average. Spicy cucumber does have a nice crunch.

Favorite aspect of fresh cooked meat vs meat that has been laying out.

Staff were kind and helpful as well.“

Ahi

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.
I plan on coming back soon!“

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“The musubis here are pretty good. I had a Katsu one and a regular spam one and they were both actually quite delicious. It might have been cause I was starving and hadn't eaten much all day but I was left really pleased with my decision to eat here. They were also sold at a decent price!“

“I'm always hesitant to order a "spicy" dish because I never think it'll actually pack a punch, but man oh man was the Spicy Meat Party nice and spicy! And you could taste so many layered flavors and not just the spice! I thought it was EXCELLENT. Also loved the side of avocado mac salad. It was so creamy and I have NO idea how it's all gluten free!“

AHI Hawaiian BBQ Barbecue • $
1388 Daisy Ave, Long Beach

“**Delicious Hawaiian BBQ on the Go!**

I recently tried the to-go Hawaiian BBQ restaurant, and it was an excellent experience! The menu offers a great variety of traditional Hawaiian dishes, from succulent BBQ chicken to flavorful Kalua pork. Each dish comes with generous portions of rice and macaroni salad, making it a hearty meal.

The flavors are authentic, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory, typical of Hawaiian BBQ. The meats were tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the BBQ chicken, which had a smoky flavor and was grilled just right.

The service was efficient. The packaging was neat and kept the food warm until I got home.

Overall, this Hawaiian BBQ spot is a gem for anyone craving a quick, delicious meal with authentic island flavors. Highly recommended!“

“If you are ever wondering what to get your diabetic friend that loves raw fish, get them a poké bowl with salad instead of rice. If they are as diabetic as my friend is, then also be sure to go easy on the sweetened pickled ginger and the sweet sauces they offer to add on top.“
