First time here, should have ordered something else. L&L Drive-Inn in Maui was the first time I discovered Hawaiian Mixed Plate as a cuisine, living in Wisconsin but traveling to Maui or Oahu once a year for vacation. We loved it...the rice was exactly the medium grain sticky style that I liked, and they mixed different Far East flavors along with Hawaiian. I’ve been coming to this location since forever and after a year and a half I came and I’m disappointed my chicken katsu was undercooked I couldn’t even take a bite of it the only pieces that were good were the edges which was mostly breading . Didn’t end up eating it cause I don’t wanna get sick. My money went down the drain.
