Tried a thin crust Meat Jesus pizza on recommendation of a friend. Pizza toppings were solid, but the crust was pretty chewy. Good, but not great.
So glad to find a pizza place near my home where I can get several vegan pizzas by the slice.
My favorite is the vegan mac and cheese pizza. The vegan Seitan meats Jesus is probably my second favorite.
The New York style slices here are solid with good flavor, plenty of cheese, and a nice firm crust. The quirky option to add a side of spicy ranch would upset a purist, but I liked it. PIZZAISTA! is definitely a good thing for the greater Los Angeles area. But is it destination pizza, a place you should seek out in a special trip?
