Definitely toxic food for your liver and shortens your life.But here at 85C there are hidden gems! Try the Taro filled buns. Taro is so good for you and the 85C has a copious filling. Want to have something savory? Try the bacon cheese bun. I usually have it with a side of hard boiled eggs that I carry with me.Avoid the westernized croissants and chocolate buns. Definitely not a nutrious option.“

“Got an iced double espresso and pain au chocolat. Literally had goosebumps the second the coffee hit my tongue, not sure what espresso they use but it’s excellent. Pain au chocolat was excellent as well. No clue how they are able to only be open 6 hours 3 days a week but it’s worth stopping by, expect a line.“

“We stumbled upon this bakery and got tempted with the 'Hong Kong' style baked goods. We were there around 2:30pm and by then most baked items were sold out. There were a few egg custard tarts left so we took the 'buy 5 and get 1 free' offer. And I must say they are legit HK egg custard tarts ! “We finally found a great Jewish bakery! Purim- The Hamentashen we bought from Pascal's were fresh and ever so flavorful! Passover- The coconut- chocolate macaroons were simply outstanding. We keep saying that these macaroons are infinitely better than any brand of macaroons from a grocery store. Without exaggeration, I can honestly say that Pascal's coconut-chocolate macaroons are the best we ever had. I like them even better than the gluten free flourless chocolate cake (for Passover)- which, by the way, was superb. Lunch - the Tuna sandwich and the avocado toast are symphonies of flavor! While these goodies are not inexpensive, they are absolutely worth every penny. The service is prompt and quick. The ambiance is that of a small European bistro. Hebrew is spoken alongside English here. There is a feeling of peace and community within Pascal's bakery. We can't wait to be back! If I could give 6 stars, I would gladly do so here.“

Drove from Santa Monica to get the celebration cake at this location for my mom's birthday. I also picked up beautiful heart sparkler candles and cute mini party hats from the beautiful table set up with a variety of candles and last minute necessities for the occasion! “Fresh cream, fresh strawberries, soft delicate white cake -- this birthday cake was sublime! They call it strawberry shortcake, but I don't know why as it is not short of anything. See my photos :) Our family have bought from Porto's for fresh birthday cakes -- and I'm not knocking Porto's as they are pretty great. But La Creme was easily as good or better, and price was $1 different than Porto's. No fussing with driving, parking, lining up. This is a charming store/small business. A really lovely lady assisted us with all the warmth of a family member we just hadn't met yet. The bakery is in the back, right corner of the strip mall everyone blocks while they are lined up to enter In' n' Out's drive through. We'll be back, La Creme! The cake was a big hit. Thank you“

“Wonderful little spot with some of the coolest couch seats ever. Cookies are extremely good, like buy the pound, good. Coffee is really lovely and the owner is really sweet Turkish man. He has Authentic, Imported, Turkish Ice Cream and Baklava. Great spot for a Sunday afternoon.“

“I looooove red ribbon so much and come here waaaay too often. I'm a little upset at my friend for introducing it to me because, it's a little further of a drive than I'd like to take on a regular but, whenever I crave Jollibee, Red ribbon is the next stop. Always, always get the cheese ensaimada, it's so goood! I've never had home cooked ensaimada's so, I don't know how authentic it is but, it's so good here. I always get two. I love the mamon's too but, I'll usually skip those. The cakes in the cases look so tempting but, I limit myself on how many I get per visit I'm also really tempted to try the cakes in the display case but, they rarely sell the ones I want in slices and I don't wanna get a whole cake. Everything looks really good here and I'm also in the mood to try new things. My coworker who is Filipino, recommended the palabok fiesta from here cause it was the best and, she wasn't wrong! It was so good! I got the a la carte one cause I knew the family style would've been toooooo much but, I might have to in the future, it was so good. Not too salty, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. I will be back to red ribbon again and again“

The bakery has so many amazing options to choose from and the coffee is not too strong. My kids did not love the chai (I didn't taste it) but the fun bakery makes up for it. “The pastries in the window drew us to look at the menu. A sandwich sounded great but we ended up spitting the smoked salmon “toast” on sourdough. The price seemed silly but it was LOADED when it came out and we were thrilled. They warmed up our croissant too and we loved how airy it was. That was my first official sour dough of Cali and I loved it.“
