“Upon entering it was empty but staff greeted us right way and gave us their recommendations since it was our first time visiting. Food was exceptional, had amazing flavor and was given to us quick! If you order over $20 they give you a complementary soda/drink which was nice :) They also have a free water station if you prefer water :) I definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a chill place with some authentic Thai food!“

“I genuinely don’t understand why this place doesn’t have more stars. I absolutely loved my food. Everything was so flavorful and fresh.

I ordered the large chicken breast plate with fried rice and it was honestly perfect. The chicken breast was cooked just right, juicy and tender, not dry at all. The vegetables were seasoned really well and the fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Even my mom, who is an extremely picky eater and usually prefers home cooked meals, loved it. That alone says a lot.

On top of that, the price point is great for the portion size and quality. Definitely worth it. I’ll be back.“

“Bun & Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant on Montana Ave in Santa Monica that serves the best Banh Mi in LA. Pop in through the window for a quick Vietnamese coffee, also the best in LA, or sit down at the counter for the full experience. Bun & mi serves delicious food in big portions that come at a solid price — this place is a must try in Los Angeles. Shoutout to the whole staff who are super welcoming to all guests.

“The food was excellent and quite fresh. Some of the decor was nice but I didn't care for the bright neon lights and the repetitious techno music. It took me back to the 90's club scene. If they make slight modifications to make the style and make it a bit more up to date, it will be an excellent place. Also, there was one server on the floor the entire time which made the service slow and the restaurant a bit sad. Some of the folks in the kitchen, the owner, etc.. could be at the bar or working on the floor to make the space look a bit more lively.“

This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. “honestly i was expecting another average sushi spot but this place totally surprised me. the yellowtail is super fresh and theres this roll with crispy rice that i keep thinking about days later. i think the miso soup could be a little more flavorful but it isnt a big deal when the rest of the food is this good. the service was friendly too even though it took a while to get our check and we had to flag someone down. definitely going back for teh lunch special next time.“

“Me and my boyfriend had hookah and drinks here after dinner at yamshiro (upstairs) our server recommended this lounge so we checked it out after dinner. You have to have reservations on the weekends here as it gets pretty busy but luckily the host made something work for us I believe her name was Maria. She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!“

“I came to this mom and pop restaurant on a Saturday night with no expectations and boy was I BLOWN AWAY. I absolutely loved it. The couple that own the place were super sweet and helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the bulgogi bowl (first time ever having one) and it was one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer to be able to eat there every, single, day. I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH, please give them a shot, you will not be disappointed.“

Now there is no kosher Japanese Ramen, no Bulgogi, and only Shanghai Diamon (terrible), and Kolab Farangi (merely adequate) for kosher Chinese fare and nowhere for kosher Korean food at all.“

“Such an incredible experience! We started with the Spicy Wings, and wow… sweet, savory, crispy, with just the perfect touch of spice. The Chicken Curry Noodles (with the flying noodles 🤩) completely amazed us! The flavor was so well balanced, rich but not spicy, with a delicious tangy finish that made every bite better than the last.

The Lemongrass Pho was pure magic—beautifully aromatic, light, comforting, and packed with flavor. And to finish, the Mango Sticky Rice was simply a work of art and absolutely delicious.

I’ve head the pleasure it talking to her various times over the years that the restaurant has been here for and have enjoyed hearing her talk about how much she enjoys her home country. She has introduced me and the neighborhood to amazing food. I love their combos as you get to try the soups and all the different types of meat. Definitely recommend their chicken sate with the peanut sauce and the rice cakes.“

Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.“
