“I LOVE this place!! The bbq pork is so good. So is the bbq chicken. So is the Jalapeño chicken. The fried fish is bomb af!! Basically everything is ridiculously good here. And they pack it up!! Only thing I wish was better is the fried rice. It's mid at best. But everything else is absolutely on point.“

“The food is really good here, I give the taste of the food a 10/10. The service is always good here. The only downside is the price, I paid almost $30 for one bowl! They upgrade the cost if you want fried rice, veggies, teriyaki sauce, etc. it’s only cheap if you get plain white rice with chicken and no veggies. The cost of everything is going up but the pricing here is a little excessive.“

“This location has a great staff, they work well together and the food tastes hot and fresh. But the negatives are that it's difficult to find parking when the lot is full. It's a very busy location with many eateries and shops. Plus this store is small. They were busy and it felt very cramped. Also there aren't many tables for seniors or the disabled. There are only two available. The rest of the tables are too high and have stools. Not good for someone with bad knees, like myself.“

In life there are only a couple of locations I eat everyday; my mom’s kitchen, my neighbors kitchen, arthur’s kitchen, tanya’s kithcen, and pokitonik. I find comfort everytime I come here, whether it’s friendly banter with Mary, or Sushi Burritos made by Arpi. I have been to multiple 5 star restaurants in my life, but nothing even compares to this glorious establishment. Where else can you combine the three of the greatest of things in life into one small building, hot cheetos, boba, and teriyaki chicken. Can’t think of one? That’s because you’ve never been to Poki. If there was a 8th wonder of the world, is would be located right here. I used to resent this building because they replaced Yogurtland, but no more. This is the greatest experience of my life.“

The guy at the front counter might seem a little serious at first, but once you’ve been there a few times you realize he’s actually a cool guy who always makes sure your order’s right before you leave. “I came to this mom and pop restaurant on a Saturday night with no expectations and boy was I BLOWN AWAY. I absolutely loved it. The couple that own the place were super sweet and helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the bulgogi bowl (first time ever having one) and it was one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer to be able to eat there every, single, day. I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH, please give them a shot, you will not be disappointed.“

If I am traveling through that area again and hungry for small restaurants cuisine , I’m stopping there! I have had Korean Bbque before but this informal way with plates, tacos and bowls is genius. I ordered the sirloin bibimbap. I customized it with no rice just salad greens, the shredded veggies, protein and sweet egg. Two sauces came with it on the side. It was delicious! I’ll dream about that meal! My husband ordered the chicken Katsu bowl. He also really enjoyed it. He is no on the veggies ( rice and protein, sauce) and I am always trying to keep it low carb. The chef was willing to customized kindly with no rice. There are tofu options. There are options for many food lifestyles. Delicious and robust with freshness and flavor!“

“Absolutely fantastic place!
My first time and I was greeted by the sweetest cashier helping me choose what I want and what specials are available.

I chose a pad Thai with shrimp and a Thai tea to drink.

The Thai tea was rich, creamy, and not to sweet and perfect to cool down the spiciness from the hot sauce.

And that pad thai - WOW. It's one of the more unique pad thai I've had, it's a tad sweet so the hot sauce helps balance it out, and it's a very rich and noodle-focused dish. The shrimp were a tad overcooked but still tasty and juicy. I loved the juiciness of the noodles too without it being a swamp of sauce.

“I genuinely don’t understand why this place doesn’t have more stars. I absolutely loved my food. Everything was so flavorful and fresh.

I ordered the large chicken breast plate with fried rice and it was honestly perfect. The chicken breast was cooked just right, juicy and tender, not dry at all. The vegetables were seasoned really well and the fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Even my mom, who is an extremely picky eater and usually prefers home cooked meals, loved it. That alone says a lot.

On top of that, the price point is great for the portion size and quality. Definitely worth it. I’ll be back.“

“I almost didn't want to post about this place because i dont want this place to get too busy! I like the chill (titanic) vibe and delicious food above all. I get my most frequent take out dinners here. My favorite is Galbi-Tang, its very similar to caldo de rez, but with different veggies. Anyway, hoping this helps someone decide this is a good reliable spot to try sometime when youre craving Korean food.“

“Checked out Waba Grill for the first time since the pandemic. Always thought the food was slightly above average, never disappointed at all really. So today I popped in (April 12, 2021). I noticed that they finally have indoor seating, limited to 20 guests at a time. The tables are spaced out a considerable distance. I decided on the sweet and spicy chicken bowl with veggies and white rice. Total after tax was $9.19. I guess that's fair, as the bowl is pretty decently sized.On to the food: The chicken was really good. A great combination of sweet and heat (4/10 on the spicy scale. Anyone who likes spicy stuff should find it satisfying, though it's not super hot, which is a good thing). The veggies are steamed or blanched - can't tell. Either way, they're crispy while still being cooked. I liked them a lot.All in all, come stop by if you're craving a decent rice bowl. Nice flavor, well put together, maybe a bit more expensive than it should be but not too bad! Recommended!“
