The ladies were very kind and I appreciate the system of checking off everything you want. We took our own drinks and no issues there. Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. A little pricey but worth it!“

“Their spicy beef and leek soup was really not that good. That beef was super tough and the soup was incredibly spicy even after I’ve asked the man in the back for it to be little spicy as possible. Their other soup won gi tang was amazing, packed with plenty of beef and it wasn’t too salty. Their big soup plate won gi soo yook was really great too! The two servers in the front were super nice and the welcoming. Very nice atmosphere and we got seated right away and served with water.“

It was also my dad's birthday and they went above and beyond with a dessert and bringing out a bubble machine it was so much fun and our waitress Corinne was so fun and sweet. “We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. Thank you, Yamashiro, for making our evening extra special for everyone in our party!“

You have to have reservations on the weekends here as it gets pretty busy but luckily the host made something work for us I believe her name was Maria. She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. In life there are only a couple of locations I eat everyday; my mom’s kitchen, my neighbors kitchen, arthur’s kitchen, tanya’s kithcen, and pokitonik. I find comfort everytime I come here, whether it’s friendly banter with Mary, or Sushi Burritos made by Arpi. I have been to multiple 5 star restaurants in my life, but nothing even compares to this glorious establishment. Where else can you combine the three of the greatest of things in life into one small building, hot cheetos, boba, and teriyaki chicken. Can’t think of one? That’s because you’ve never been to Poki. If there was a 8th wonder of the world, is would be located right here. I used to resent this building because they replaced Yogurtland, but no more. This is the greatest experience of my life.“
