Pop in through the window for a quick Vietnamese coffee, also the best in LA, or sit down at the counter for the full experience. “The food was excellent and quite fresh. Some of the decor was nice but I didn't care for the bright neon lights and the repetitious techno music. It took me back to the 90's club scene. If they make slight modifications to make the style and make it a bit more up to date, it will be an excellent place. Also, there was one server on the floor the entire time which made the service slow and the restaurant a bit sad. Some of the folks in the kitchen, the owner, etc.. could be at the bar or working on the floor to make the space look a bit more lively.“

“We were just passing through Los Angeles and decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Wallflower on a whim. We had no reservation, but were warmly welcomed and given a lovely table beneath the disco ball, which made the evening feel even more special.

Every dish was delicious. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience made it well worth it.

“We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. The service was friendly and I thought I'd have to wait some time for my slice lunch deal to be ready, but it was out before I even had my cash ready to pay. The pizza was reasonably priced and the cheese was chewy, stringy and delicious. I've been looking for a place that has crust with a great flavor and texture, and found that here!“

Now there is no kosher Japanese Ramen, no Bulgogi, and only Shanghai Diamon (terrible), and Kolab Farangi (merely adequate) for kosher Chinese fare and nowhere for kosher Korean food at all.“
