Wow- pure fire here - best house hot sauce ever- mix between a Mexican salsa n Tabasco 🔥🔥 very tasty- well the other bestest item were the beef noodles!! Thick noodles!! 🫶🏻
I love woon! Everything is always so tasty and presented so amazing with a load of flavors that make my mouth water just thinking about it ❤️🍜🍚🍤🥩
Pros: DELICIOUS food and the best homemade chili oil and sauce. Cute ambiance. Great natural wine. Unique alcoholic slushies. Thoroughly enjoyed the beef noodle bowl. Curly haired cashier is super friendly.
Cons: staff consistently closes seating early. If you want to sit outside at 8:50….sorry! Food takes a while to cook.
Prices are lower than most LA restaurants, which is nice. Could be a pro or a con depending how you look at it, but portions aren’t huge.

Woon in Filipinotown serves great food, including beef noodle bowl, fried rice, wings, pork belly over rice, veggie noodles, and baos. The beef noodles are flavorful and satisfying with a chewy texture, while the pork belly over rice is rich and comforting. Vegetarian options are very flavorful, and portions are good enough. The wings came out 30 minutes after the other food, but they were fresh. The charred flavor of the noodles is a highlight. Service could be better at the order counter. The ambience is small but cool and laidback, with a really good vibe—modern but cozy. Parking is difficult and street only, so it is best to come for an early dinner to beat the crowd. It is definitely much better eating there than ordering through DoorDash. Woon is a fantastic spot for casual, high-quality Chinese comfort food without the long wait if going early.
