“I got caught in some street construction and had to drive thru Vanowen St when I saw Haig’s Kabob House !!! I immediately pulled over to take a look. They have all types of meats Beef… Lamb… Venison… Wild Boar… Chicken. Also all type of Mediterranean spices and drinks +hummus. I bought several pounds of marinated chicken breast. Went home and cooked up YUMMY. Every time I am near by .. got stop by!!!”

“This place is amazing. There are Armenian kebab places everywhere in and around LA, but Mangal is the best I’ve tried. The beef shish kebab is juicy and well-seasoned. It was grilled to perfection without the slightest hint of dryness. The lula kebab was the best I ever tried. We stumbled upon this place by coincidence, but we’re definitely glad we did! The only thing I regret is not taking any photos—we were too hungry to take the obligatory pictures!”

“On my first visit, I was welcomed by Salim (the owner) with a friendly handshake. I tried the combo kabobs, and the quality of the ingredients stood out immediately. The kabobs were tender and oozing with juice, with just the right amount of char and smokiness to bring out their depth and flavor. The salad was crisp and very watery. The hummus was light, silky, and delicate without too much seasoning. I also liked how the rice was light — not too salty or buttery like some places.

My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and not overly sweet. Everything felt intentionally flavored to offer impact without that heavy, overwhelming feeling afterward. After a hearty meal, I felt light and satisfied. Really happy with this spontaneous find, and I’ll definitely be back to complete their entire menu.”

“This was our first time dining here, and we were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone was very attentive throughout our visit and checked in multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our meal.

The food was outstanding — full of flavor, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. We ordered Pad See Ew, Khua Kai, Wonton Soup, Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli, and the Yellow Curry. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. It easily fed our family of four, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home.

If you’re craving truly authentic Thai food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. There was plenty of street parking available, and they also have additional parking behind the restaurant, which is super convenient.

We’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!”

“We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.

Also, I just have to say—the woman who owns the place has an awesome haircut and color! I meant to compliment her in person, but forgot, so I’m writing it here in case she sees this.”

“Smaller pizza place in the valley. Place is pretty non-descript in a strip mall. Inside was quiet and clean. I got a calzone with pepperoni and bacon. The calzone was big so that was definitely a plus. I do feel that it could have used a bit more mozzarella but it was still tasty. I also got some garlic bread which was also good. Definitely a good spot with reasonable prices and the parking was easy too”
