Beautiful interior and exterior space and occasional live music (great music by the way). I think they may have overcharged me on the alcohol -- but the great food, music, hospitality, and atmosphere make up for it.“

“This place is amazing. There are Armenian kebab places everywhere in and around LA, but Mangal is the best I’ve tried. The beef shish kebab is juicy and well-seasoned. It was grilled to perfection without the slightest hint of dryness. The lula kebab was the best I ever tried. We stumbled upon this place by coincidence, but we’re definitely glad we did! The only thing I regret is not taking any photos—we were too hungry to take the obligatory pictures!“

“We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.

“On my first visit, I was welcomed by Salim (the owner) with a friendly handshake. I tried the combo kabobs, and the quality of the ingredients stood out immediately. The kabobs were tender and oozing with juice, with just the right amount of char and smokiness to bring out their depth and flavor. The salad was crisp and very watery. The hummus was light, silky, and delicate without too much seasoning. I also liked how the rice was light — not too salty or buttery like some places.

My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and not overly sweet. Everything felt intentionally flavored to offer impact without that heavy, overwhelming feeling afterward. After a hearty meal, I felt light and satisfied. Really happy with this spontaneous find, and I’ll definitely be back to complete their entire menu.“

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. “Went here because I saw there were good reviews and there is a good reason. I tried the Tri Tip, Chicken shawarma and chicken breast. All three excellent. I'd say Trip Tip was the best of the three. Also, grabbed a baklava and it was one of the best I've had.“

“Hook Kabob has wonderful Greek food. If you want it, they likely have it. The place is so cute and comfortable. You can dine there, get take away and they also deliver. We like to eat there. It is fun.

The service is very friendly and they treat you like a family member. They make sure the food is right the first time and you get a goodly amount. They are famous for their kabobs, but there are other great things to have.

Their salads, wraps and desserts are so good. They have great bread and their hummus is out of this world. It is so good and so fresh.

You will love their salmon kabob and their and their pork ribs are just perfect. All their sides are great. You can have a little or a lot. After all, you can always take some home, it heats up so well.

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. Thank you NoHo Cafe for starting my 2020 with a reminder of the importance of kindness.“
