“It had been a while since I’ve been to this place. Visited frequently a while back, but it’s been a few years.

Came back again today and was not disappointed. Same flavor and quality that I was used to. I got the combo plate that comes with steak kebab, chicken, kebab, and Lula kebab. It also has rice, french fries, hummus, pita bread, and a salad.

As soon as you walk in, you feel that home feeling and you can tell everything is made with love. A husband wife combo run the joint and cook some amazing food.

“On my first visit, I was welcomed by Salim (the owner) with a friendly handshake. I tried the combo kabobs, and the quality of the ingredients stood out immediately. The kabobs were tender and oozing with juice, with just the right amount of char and smokiness to bring out their depth and flavor. The salad was crisp and very watery. The hummus was light, silky, and delicate without too much seasoning. I also liked how the rice was light — not too salty or buttery like some places.

My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and not overly sweet. Everything felt intentionally flavored to offer impact without that heavy, overwhelming feeling afterward. After a hearty meal, I felt light and satisfied. Really happy with this spontaneous find, and I’ll definitely be back to complete their entire menu.“

“Had the beef and chicken kabob wraps with fries, very good and tasty food! Very fresh as well. Super clean restaurant, wasn't too busy which was surprising but I guess I am years late to the hype. Really good food compared to what we get in Canada, I will definitely come back on my next Cali trip because the food was definitely worth it. Sucks that the location is kind of out of the way of most things, but if you're going to Universal or Warner Bros, this is not too far out of the way in a more local residential part of California, giving you the at home vibes you miss during your vacationing or getaway trips.“

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“The perfect meal to break my daily intermittent keto fast. I eat the salad bowls, sub grilled veg for the hummus and I'm relatively carb free. Carbs from the plants but no processed or concentrated carbs from sugar, seeds or beans. Fresh flavorful ingredients, rich flavors and very satisfying. Nice self serve sauce bar with seasoned yogurt, a dill ranch and good hot sauce similar to a mild harissa. Fills me up, satisfies me and then start the timer on the next 24 hrs.“

They're open late, the tea is good even if you only get one refill, and the koobideh here is as good as anywhere on the Westwood strip. The hookah situation is fine, nothing exceptional but it does the job. The real draw is the laid-back Persian lounge atmosphere. Feels like a neighborhood spot for people who actually live around here, not a tourist-facing version of Persian culture. I always leave full and relaxed.“

Cafe Elegante in Burbank is truly a hidden gem and one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and outstanding customer service that made me feel right at home.

The food was absolutely incredible. The chicken dishes were perfectly seasoned, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The beef was equally impressive—cooked to perfection, rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. You can genuinely tell that great care and attention go into every dish that comes out of the kitchen.

What really stood out were the mouthwatering appetizers. Every appetizer we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. They were the perfect way to start the meal and left us excited for the main courses. Each bite showcased the quality ingredients and passion that Cafe Elegante puts into its menu.

The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and comfortable, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Between the exceptional food, generous portions, and attentive service, Cafe Elegante exceeded all expectations.

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “I had my family at The Grill Stories Restaurant yesterday Feb. 28, 2026 There were 6 of us and the food was amazingly delicious we had two big family platers and extra sides , my daughter needs gluten free so she had the Mediterranean salad alone separately she said it was fantastic. The outside dining was very comfortable and cozy , it was a beautiful 85° weather . The round lady hostess and other people there were very friendly and welcoming . After we stuffed ourselves there was still plenty of food to pack and take home . Ultimately it was a great experience and with all the food it was approximately $35 per person including tax and tip, for most people it would be less because we ordered a lot of delicious food. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling.
