“Great food and cocktails! It's a pretty casual place hidden in West Adams. Just a short 10 min walk for me to get there. We enjoyed all the dishes except a 30+ min wait before the lamb chop came out which was really strange, but totally delicious. The date cake was yummy & they comped another dessert for the wait. The patio seating is in decomposed granite so my black flats are now brown but it was easy enough to brush off.“
“Weird, but the place was dead----and i mean dead----at peak hour on Saturday night. My wife and I were the only ones in the place. The ambiance/bar was upscale but quaint. The service---by the owner and wait staff---off the charts great. Food was also very good. Had the moussaka and my wife had shrimp. Everything was tasty. Hard to explain why there was no one else there.“
“I absolutely love Bacari Silverlake location! Not only is the atmosphere incredible but the customer service is exceptional. I was just there for my birthday on Tuesday night and my server Kevin went out of his way to make it seem like a special occasion and helped contribute to making my night memorable! Thank you so much Bacari and Kevin!“
“Donna Jean is a great place to enjoy healthy vegan options in the Sherman Oaks area, the staff is very helpful and very attentive. My wife and I came here for Brunch on a Sunday and we ordered there Fungazi and we also got the hot shrooms. Both dishes were really really good. I highly recommend Donna Jean for everyone not just if you are Vegan. The food is outstanding and nothing beats a lively atmosphere and nice staff.“
“Amazing place! While I didn't get any fresh fish and instead chose the chicken which was delicious, they display their fresh fish for the customers to see and you can even pick out the fish yourself! It's truly a one of a kind experience, also their ice cream is delightful!“
“The place is gorgeous, especially if you love a nice terrace. The food... Is it because it's the only middle Eastern gluten free place, or is it because the ingredients are fresh, or is it because the preparation is perfect, or maybe it's all the small details... I think it's all of the above, one of the best middle Eastern places in LA, and the best gluten free one :) enjoy their manahish!“
“I really enjoy Armenian cuisine, and this place was both delicious and unique. The flavors were subtle, the presentation was lovely, and the ambience quite nice as well. We ordered small plates which allowed us to experience a variety of items.Vegetarian options: Definitely not a vegetarian restaurant, as there are several dishes with beef and other meats. But there were plenty of vegetarian options for me.“
“ou won't miss the meat" at this "go-to for high-end vegan" and vegetarian dining, a "phenomenal" "late-night find" on Melrose offering "inspired" "comfort food" and "creative" Vegan cafés abound in health-conscious L.A., but Crossroads Kitchen, which opened in 2013, sets itself apart by turning plant-based dining into a white tablecloth affair. Crossroads is a high-end vegan restaurant for carnivores. Plant-based chef to the stars Tal Ronnen—he counts Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres as clients.“
“My girls and I had an amazing experience. As soon as you walk inside you immediately just feel transported to another world. Ambiance was perfect and the food was extremely delicious. I definitely left feeling satisfied thanks to the wonderful staff and to Mario who hosted us.“
“The best Moroccan restaurant. The chef and server (probably the owner too) are so nice. The mint tea was amazing, the pastilla is amazing, the lamb honey OMG.. the chocolate cake, probably the best chocolate mousse I’ve ever had.Fantastic restaurant, really amazing place. Bring your family or friend, imo this is one of the best place to celebrate everything.“
“Had a fantastic dining experience at "Bowery Bungalow"! The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu and delicious flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.“
“Very unique concept. I personally would prefer having a traditional wait staff but that's just my preference. The aroma of the grill was wonderful, but I wasn't impressed with my chicken skewer or my grilled pumpkin. The atmosphere is fun however and I can see how some people would love it, it was quite crowded! Try it out!“
“I’m Swedish and I agree with everyone here, fantastic pizza and I was overjoyed that he serves PIZZA SALAD!!! The taste is exactly like in Sweden and I’m just amazed with how great this place is! Twelve of ten, will definitely be coming back!“
“Obsessed! Among a sea of fancy, loud pizza places in LA, Heirloom stands on their own merit. I drive quite a bit just to visit this spot. The pizza is fresh, balanced, and delicious, the place is comfy, and the owners are kind. My ONLY complaint is that they’re not open more often (I always crave them on Friday).“
“I was finally able to check off Kismet after months of passing by it after work. The food was delectable and distinctive, and the service was great. The tahdig/persian crispy rice and the roasted maitake mushrooms were our favorites of the night. My boyfriend and I thought that some dishes could tone down on the acidity (like the carrot side dish). Overall, it was a solid dinner, and we would certainly be back to try the other offerings and the dessert menu.“
“The Little Door in Los Angeles is a hidden gem! The ambiance is enchanting, and the Bottled Spicy Margarita is a must-try. The menu offers a delightful fusion of flavors, and the service is exceptional. A perfect spot for a romantic evening or a cozy gathering with friends.“
“Great now I’m going to be dreaming about felafel sandwiches all year. This place is the truth!A long time ago there was a Lebanese chef that open the falafel shop next to the mosque near my apartment in Seoul. As soon as you would walk in the door, he would smile at you tear off a piece of dough, roll out your pita and put it in the oven. Heaven I tell you, can you really have a great falafel sandwich without freshly made pita? Not in my world. Joe’s is the best I’ve had in ten years and I’ve been searching. If you’ve never had a falafel sandwich on freshly made pita, you owe it to yourself to get here as soon as possible.“
“10/10 recommend. So flavorful and delicious. It’s always busy and for good reason. My friend who joined me is vegetarian and said the falafel was to die for. My grilled chicken plate was perfect and the portions are great. Two meals in one!“
“Glad i found this spot the food is amazing and the guy (I think he may be the owner) at the register is such a nice guy with a great personality! Will be back soon. Oh about that pic, i forgot to take a picture when the food before I eat it!! “
“Meals and memories are made here at Bianca’s deli. Bianca’s deli (est 1983) is a small Mediterranean deli cafe in East Hollywood. They serve fresh, healthy salads, wraps, sandwiches, panini and pasta. Furthermore, they offer good breakfast and coffee. They provide exceptional service and food. I came here over Lunch and ordered a Grilled chicken salad and a Pasta Primavera. Food was fresh and satisfying; portions were abundant for their modest price. Staff were assiduous, caring and professional.Overall, I enjoyed their service and food. I highly recommend this deli.“
“I love going to Luna for Lunch and/or Dinner, in particular , the Culver City location. It’s my go to place. The food is always amazing and the portion is huge that I always have left over for the following day. My favorite is the Mediterranean Salad.. The dressing is amazing. I add garlic kabob chicken and I have enough for my lunch the following day .In addition, they have a great staff. Aidan and Rodney are always so welcoming and friendly. They always want make sure that customers leave regardless Dine in or Takeout fully satisfied.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of choices regarding individual dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: There are kids option meal for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to dine in and outdoor.“
“The BEST dining experience!! Our table had a gluten & garlic allergy and the staff and chef were so accommodating!! It did not feel like an impediment, they offered us so many options!! All the food was delicious and the service was even better!! We love this restaurant and can't recommend it enough!! 20/10!!“
“I lived in koreatown my whole life and i hate that i never tried this place until today. Food was so good here. I thought chicken would be dry just like other kabob places i go but this was the best chicken kabob i ever had. All their other plates were so delicious. I would recommend to everyone.“
“Update after a few years: Everything was good. Disregard my old commentHere's my short review:1.they're nice and the place is also friendly.2. the foods I ordered, except for Tabbouleh, were not good in taste. The presentation was good.*this is my perception, the way I felt and tasted their food. I did not see a special thing about those two foods I ordered. You might have a different experience.“
“This is a little hole in the wall kabob shop in Glendale. What's interesting is when you're driving down the street, there are so many kabob places and we chose this one based on some reviews that we saw and the fact that it look like a mom and pop shop and it was! I love supporting small businesses and the people working behind the counter were so helpful and kind. I'm pretty sure the wife was the one that served us and she was particularly helpful and delivered excellent service. We shared a mixed kabob plate that ended up enough for both of us! The meat was super moist and flavorful, especially I took note of the chicken breast which often can be dry. I would highly recommend this place!“
“Every time we come here the food and service are excellent, wonderful chicken and shish kebabs...hummus is creamy, to die for, the pita is wonderfully grilled to perfection and the right amount of crispy and soft. The seasoning is perfect, the portions are amazing you will not go home hungry! we come here often and the wait staff are always amazing, very nice and helpful. theres a lot of Mediterranean and Armenian places here in Glendale but this place should definitely be on your radar if you're looking for a great place just beyond the hustle of downtown Glendale.“
“I’ve had a great experience here every time I’ve visited. Amazing food, chill vibes, generally good prices. I’m quite stuck on the Armenian cold brew they have as well. Also a decent place to have wine with a friend if you’re into that sort of thing. The lentil soup & everything on the menu is so fresh & tasty!“
“This is an incredible place, hands down one of the best restaurants in LA and I have been to many. The food is a true art, all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. The service is excellent and the music band that they have creates an incredible ambiance!“
“Today for lunch, my colleagues from the office and I decided to come to this wonderful restaurant! They joined our tables together, and while we were waiting for our order, they brought us some quick appetizers. The main dishes we ordered were very delicious, all the food was fresh and excellently prepared! The atmosphere in this place is charming, with beautiful views from the large panoramic windows. We definitely recommend this place! ????“
“Mantee is one of the best Armenian restaurants in studio city. The service is always on point and the serves have great knowledge of the menu. Some of the must haves are fried cheese, mantee, yogurt, the filet plate is to die for. If you want good Armenian food you must visit here. @“
“I wish it was possible to give this place higher than 5 stars. We had such an incredible dinner during our weekend trip to LA.First off; the atmosphere is awesome. The open dining room, along with the lighting and music make the perfect setup for a fun/modern environment. We started off with cocktails and both really enjoyed them. For appetizers we chose the pork belly sliders based off of reviews online. I personally wasn’t blow away by them, but my girlfriend really enjoyed them. We also decided to share the truffle flatbread and WOW. This was quite easily the best part of the meal. The dough was perfect and the truffle sauce on top was incredible. Do yourself a favor and order this! For the entrees; we both opted for one of the pasta dishes. Sticking with the same theme my girlfriend got the truffle pasta. She absolutely loved it, I tried a bite and was jealous I didn’t order that myself. I chose the sweet potato gnocchi with short rib and it was very good. It probably could have used some more salt. And just when we thought the meal couldn’t get any better…we ordered desert. We were going to get the churros since many reviews online talked about them, BUT based off of our server’s recommendation we ordered the chocolate cake instead. No words…just delicious. We were so content after that. We both are in agreement that this was one of the best meals we’ve had at a restaurant in a while.“
“This is an absolutely no frills restaurant with about 5 items on the menu, but they do them well. The monta (aka manti, mante) is the star of the show. Unlike other places that take a shortcut by using wonton skins, this place makes the dough from scratch and it really makes a difference. In addition to the baked monta, they also do a soup version in either tomato or yogurt. Their sou boereg ( Armenian cheese lasagna) is good also. All monta is cooked to order, so it does take a few minutes for your order to be ready, but it's totally worth the wait. Have an appetizer while waiting. You can also visit their sister restaurant in Pasadena, though it's tiny with only two tables on the sidewalk.P.S. I read some reviews saying that monta is supposed to be made with phyllo dough. Uh, no. I helped my mom and grandma make monta from scratch and they use the same dough you'll find here. And I was born in Lebanon, my grandmother was a Genocide survivor. So they know how to make it.“
“This is a great lil joint hiding away in a not often traveled part of DTLA. It’s a small and cozy spot but the food they cook up is delicious and very good portion sizes. Nothing is crazy overpriced and the flavors of everything are spot on. We got the beef and chicken lule combo and lamb chop combo and loved it all. The char and flavor of the chops and lule was amazing. Plus the rice that comes with it was cooked perfect and I love that it comes with a sumac seasoning to add. Would definitely go back and recommend“
“I love this place! The food here is so good I always try something different every time. This time we got the wings - which are packed with flavor- and trust me once you have one, you're gonna finish the plate. We also got the sea bass (which is what we get every time) and the flatbread ( which was also really good)The ambiance is great for a date if your looking for something different on the menu. To top it all off , the service is great every single time.“
“Had the pleasure of ordering at this restaurant for a work lunch, and the customer service was just remarkable. The food was lovely as well, and during the brief time I was in the restaurant waiting on my order, I was very impressed with what I saw. Highly recommend.“
“Been coming here since I was a little girl. My dad would drive all the way from San Diego to pick up the amazing food for us. It's been years since we've headed up to this area, but today we returned and the food hasn't changed one bit! Everything was delicious, fresh, and made with love!!! The staff (the owners) were so kind and helpful! Can't wait for my next trip!!!!“
“The team here is great. I had the pleasure of hosting a party here in December, they allowed me to book the entire place for the night with full service and entertainment. The owners treat you like family and make sure you have the best experience. Their pricing is also so fair, it's hard to believe how good it is. They were very flexible to what I wanted the party to look alike and accommodated as needed. I wish I had better pictures of the initial time of the party, but here's what I could find. The food was a hit with my guests, everyone said their kabob was great. I personally loved all the side dishes too!“
“We ordered a Greek pizza, a Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, a Vanilla and Nutella ponchik for pick up and everything tasted so good. The pick up time was 25 minutes and when we got there, they were wrapping up our food.Average pick up time, if I may say, for food that good. If they were any faster I'd be suspicious. We ordered on a Wednesday around 5-6pm.We definitely found our favorite pizza place.“
“So, they forgot the hummus in my to-go order, but they still get 5 stars because everything was still delicious. I got the #3, chicken and steak combo. I'm use to steak kabobs being really tough to chew, but this meat was tender, juicy, and had great flavor. Salad and rice tasted fresh. There was a small complimentary container of lentil soup that was so good I may need to return and get a large bowl. Lastly, as a proud lemonade fan and addict, the cucumber lemonade was very good.“
“This is the best Turkish food in town. The quality of the food is great. Everything is fresh, The portions are pretty big. My favorites are Sultan Delight and Adana kabab. Their Baba ganouj is the best in LA. It's not heavy. They have a small area where you can eat but it's mostly takeout. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
“Let me start with the food- incredible and very authentic. The appetizers I indulged in were the grilled calamari and carciofini (artichoke) salad. The salad is so flavorful and calamari grilled to perfection; the best I have had- tender and flavorful! The main course I had the fusilli nassa pasta which had little shrimps cooked in a red sauce that melts in your mouth. The Branzino with roasted potatoes and veggies were absolutely delicious. The linguine made with zucchini and topped with mouthwatering clams and porcini mushrooms was a fantastic alternative for those that cannot eat regular pasta (still an option). I recommend closing the meal out with a flavorful chocolate flourless cake or tiramisu desert! The service is impeccable as one of the Italian owner navigates through the busy tables making sure everyone's' needs are met. The Ambiance includes original artwork and perfect lighting for a night out with friends, family or a romantic interlude. It is truly a gem! A little slice of Italy nestled in Santa Monica Canyon.“
“Every time I visit LA I stop by Spitz for a Mediterranean falafel wrap and half and half fries. It is always consistent, fresh, flavorful and filling. I crave the falafel wrap when I'm back home on the East Coast but haven't found anything that compares.“
“Pleasant experience having lunch here today. I went along with my husband as we were doing some business in the area. The spicy cheese beorek was the highlight of our lunch although the Armenian pizza was also great. I will definitely use again.“
“The Shawarma taste both chicken, and the beef are scrumptious specifically, the garlic sauce is amazing, I took the 24 plate cuz there is 12 and 24 so I got the 24. It’s more than enough for two people and the price is more than reasonable. Keep going guys. Thank you so much.“
“We had an outstanding meal in a beautiful enclosed patio setting - the branzino was prepared perfectly accompanied with great roasted vegetables and it was delcious. The shuk salad was so fresh it tasted like they had just picked the ingredients and the eggplant preparation was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and highly recommend it.“
“Lady Hawk is a fantastic, trendy restaurant nestled within the Kimpton La Peer hotel. Securing reservations a few weeks in advance is essential due to its high demand. Upon visiting with my friends, we were thoroughly impressed. Every aspect, from the decor to the service and ambiance, exceeded our expectations. We opted for the Mezze platter, which turned out to be larger than anticipated but incredibly satisfying. We also indulged in the za'atar man'oushe, seared halloumi, shawarma skirt steak, and half chicken--all of which were delightful. Sharing is recommended, so keep that in mind when ordering. Despite leaving with leftovers, we were eager to return for more.“
“This marks my third order from Anwar's within a single month. The freshness and flavors are beyond description. Were it possible to rate with more hands, I'd award additional stars without hesitation. Concluding my review, dining here feels akin to receiving a warm invitation into someone's home, where the meal is served with genuine love.“
“The food was amazing, we got the beef and chicken lule kabobs, both were phenomenal. This place was spotless, the staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. I had a last minute change to my order and they made the change no problem. We brought two noisy and messy babys with us and they were great with the babies! They gave us complementary lentil soup too! Extraordinarily kind, great service and delicious food!!!“
