“We just had dinner here for the first time, and the food was absolutely amazing! We were warmly greeted by Vanessa, who was incredibly kind and welcoming.

We ordered the Branzino and the Chicken Combo Plate, and everything was delicious. We also tried the hummus, strawberry mojito, and baklava—each dish was full of fresh, vibrant flavors.

“This place has become a kind of regular thing for me and a couple of friends. We come for the food, we end up playing backgammon for hours. They're open late, the tea is good even if you only get one refill, and the koobideh here is as good as anywhere on the Westwood strip. The hookah situation is fine, nothing exceptional but it does the job. The real draw is the laid-back Persian lounge atmosphere. Feels like a neighborhood spot for people who actually live around here, not a tourist-facing version of Persian culture. I always leave full and relaxed.“

“I had my family at The Grill Stories Restaurant yesterday Feb. 28, 2026 There were 6 of us and the food was amazingly delicious we had two big family platers and extra sides , my daughter needs gluten free so she had the Mediterranean salad alone separately she said it was fantastic. The outside dining was very comfortable and cozy , it was a beautiful 85° weather . The round lady hostess and other people there were very friendly and welcoming . After we stuffed ourselves there was still plenty of food to pack and take home . Ultimately it was a great experience and with all the food it was approximately $35 per person including tax and tip, for most people it would be less because we ordered a lot of delicious food. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. We ordered the falafel, chicken, and hummus and everything was incredible. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the chicken was flavorful and well seasoned, and the hummus was fresh, smooth, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.

You can tell the ingredients are high quality and everything is made with care. Simple food done right.

“Hook Kabob has wonderful Greek food. If you want it, they likely have it. The place is so cute and comfortable. You can dine there, get take away and they also deliver. We like to eat there. It is fun.

The service is very friendly and they treat you like a family member. They make sure the food is right the first time and you get a goodly amount. They are famous for their kabobs, but there are other great things to have.

Their salads, wraps and desserts are so good. They have great bread and their hummus is out of this world. It is so good and so fresh.

You will love their salmon kabob and their and their pork ribs are just perfect. All their sides are great. You can have a little or a lot. After all, you can always take some home, it heats up so well.

One negative to note were the drinks: my latte was not satisfying - too small (~12oz.), not enough milk (too much foam for a latte) and per my request for extra steamed milk they offered two Coffeemate creamer pods - all while it set me back $10.40+tax; a 0.5 litter (16.9oz.) bottle of Pellegrino was $4.16+tax.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. Thank you NoHo Cafe for starting my 2020 with a reminder of the importance of kindness.“
