“This is a little hole in the wall kabob shop in Glendale. What's interesting is when you're driving down the street, there are so many kabob places and we chose this one based on some reviews that we saw and the fact that it look like a mom and pop shop and it was! I love supporting small businesses and the people working behind the counter were so helpful and kind. I'm pretty sure the wife was the one that served us and she was particularly helpful and delivered excellent service. We shared a mixed kabob plate that ended up enough for both of us! The meat was super moist and flavorful, especially I took note of the chicken breast which often can be dry. I would highly recommend this place!“
“This is an absolutely no frills restaurant with about 5 items on the menu, but they do them well. The monta (aka manti, mante) is the star of the show. Unlike other places that take a shortcut by using wonton skins, this place makes the dough from scratch and it really makes a difference. In addition to the baked monta, they also do a soup version in either tomato or yogurt. Their sou boereg ( Armenian cheese lasagna) is good also. All monta is cooked to order, so it does take a few minutes for your order to be ready, but it's totally worth the wait. Have an appetizer while waiting. You can also visit their sister restaurant in Pasadena, though it's tiny with only two tables on the sidewalk.P.S. I read some reviews saying that monta is supposed to be made with phyllo dough. Uh, no. I helped my mom and grandma make monta from scratch and they use the same dough you'll find here. And I was born in Lebanon, my grandmother was a Genocide survivor. So they know how to make it.“
“The team here is great. I had the pleasure of hosting a party here in December, they allowed me to book the entire place for the night with full service and entertainment. The owners treat you like family and make sure you have the best experience. Their pricing is also so fair, it's hard to believe how good it is. They were very flexible to what I wanted the party to look alike and accommodated as needed. I wish I had better pictures of the initial time of the party, but here's what I could find. The food was a hit with my guests, everyone said their kabob was great. I personally loved all the side dishes too!“

You have to specify if you want rice or fries. Later on I remembered to ask for fries, otherwise they'll give you rice. I gave that up for lent. The plate was much larger than expected! The cucumber salad was delicious. The hummus was good, but a little grainy. Perhaps it needed to be puréed a bit more. The shawarma was so soft and tasty, but the sauces were on point!! The venue was very helpful with planning and helped create the perfect details for a memorable party. The menu options are plenty and all food was great, all guest enjoyed the variety of dishes and beverages. The venue worked with us so third-party vendors like cake baker, band, DJ, decorations, and photographers had early access to prep. Once the party began the venue staff made our diverse group of guests, many that had not attended this type of banquet feel very comfortable and offered polite service and drinks as needed. The server (counter service) was super friendly and even gave me a small ice cream soft serve to help me pass the ten minutes while I waited for the food prep. The space isn't anything special--really just designed for counter service and takeout but they do have a table and a few stools if you want to eat there.
