“I've been coming to the spot for probably over 10 years and the experience overall has been solid. The owners are always really polite, the food is put together ridiculously fast, and the flavors are pretty familiar and flavorful as you would expect from Mediterranean food. I will say, that perhaps there's a little bit of shrinkflation because most restaurants, the portions just seem a little smaller. I think for this cafe, everything is pretty much the same with high quality hummus, tasty rice, fresh salad, but I think the meat portions are a little smaller than I remember a year ago. Also, this round, my lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and on the dry side. But, perhaps this is just an anomaly for this visit. I'm going to try again probably this month!“

Fresh and delicious scrumptious food, where the owners really really really take pride in and care about what they are providing to others. check out their menu, dont miss this gem.“

“Absolutely amazing! We loved Sahara so much that we came back twice during our 6-day trip to LA.

The food is incredibly fresh, delicious and truly homemade. The grilled meats were amazing, especially the kebab, honestly one of the best BBQ meals I’ve had.

The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. They recommended the mixed platter instead of ordering too much food, and it was the perfect choice. They even gave us baklava as a little gift when we left. ❤ Special thanks to Cindy, who was absolutely wonderful and made us feel at home.

And excuse the not-so-pretty photos 😂 the food was so good that both times I completely forgot to take pictures and only remembered when we had already eaten almost everything!

“Phone in your order to speed up the wait. I usually get the garlic chicken panini. It's so so so very good. Keep in mind the limited hours. I wish they were open for dinner. It's also one of the few places you can still get a copy of the Pasadena Weekly.

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“

“Oh this place is simply magical. Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. And everyone is happy (kinda like Trader Joe's?). “Got to the restaurant right when it open there was already One customer ahead of us. As soon as I entered the restaurant smelled like dirty mop at the entrance. We were seated and the server took a while to to service and take our order but other than that the food was great. The server advised me later that he didn't expect the morning to be so busy because as soon as we came in the restaurant got full and there was only one server.We will definitely return hopefully we don't get that dirty mop smell at the entrance of the restaurant.“

“Recently my nephew got married and on his reception taken place on universal city Hilton hotel and we found Mazze banquet from Pasadena for catering. The food was excellent the service was excellent everything was on time. We had 250 guests and everything went smoothly. Food quality was 10 out of 10. Service was 10 out of 10. So happy so happy.
