“Great food with sooo much flavor and the chicken is ALWAYS fresh/juicy. I’m not usually a fan of veggies either, but they’ve got it down with their combination of veggies.
I’ve only gone there a few times, but after going the 2nd time they asked and even remembered my name. On top of that, they are quick with their orders.
The whole team there is awesome and Angie really came through for me on a last minute catering order - they made it happen and everyone complimented how tasty the food was.
Thank you Teriyaki Madness! See you today for lunch :)“

“I go here way too much, I think the cashier thinks I like her... but sadly, she underestimates the power of affordable and delicious Japanese takeout. I mean, she's cute, but I'm legit hungry and don't want anything else from you“

“We tried the Dine LA course and it was our favorite Dine LA experience by far! We enjoyed all of the different food items and the portions were quite generous. Our favorites were the Brussels sprouts, salmon dry miso, tempura shrimp, Kobe black pepper, salmon truffle roll and butter cake. Our reservation was at 6pm and even though we didn’t dine at the bar, they allowed us to order the Fusion cocktail with the happy hour price.
Also our server, Micah, was phenomenal and really attentive.
We had such a great experience with the food, ambiance, and incredible service!“

“Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I live in the area and we love being able to walk to places in our neighborhood. This is definitely a new favorite spot! I rarely write reviews but I had to share my great experience to support this business. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is very kind.
We ordered the Rainbow and the Spicy Yellowtail rolls for pick up orders through their online website, had a lovely sunset walk during Golden Hour to and from there, and the service was timely and efficient. When we got back home the food was packaged and presented beautifully and it kept well. We thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience and will be happy to order again soon! We look forward to dining in person there as well. Definitely find out for yourself and enjoy this awesome little gem!
Thank you to the entire staff for bringing this spot into the NoHo Arts District!“

“This is hands down my new favorite sushi place. I will never be going back to Katsuya. Joe is quite an extraordinary chef. I used to frequent a sushi restaurant he used to work at, but it wasn't the same after he left. I'm so grateful that I was able to find him here after a good hunt. Highly recommend!!!
Vegetarian options: You can ask for whatever you want that doesn't contain any meat. Like cucumber rolls, avocado rolls, egg rolls, or just miso and an order of sticky rice.“

“Overall good experience. Service was helpful and communicative.
Happy Hour was but one get one half off of Rolls. We had 4 rolls and 2 appetizers, minus 5% for paying in cash was $80.
Ex girlfriend roll was my favorite! The crispy rice and tuna was also delicious!
Just a good hole in the wall- definitely worth checking out.“

“I could eat here everyday. It’s a chill place to have dinner or lunch at. I have never had a bad experience here. It’s had to not order the chicken katsu curry Everytime.
Parking: Very small and tight lot. I usually get a spot very quick but I do get concerned about how close I am to other cars. Hard to get in and out.“

“Needed a fast, casual, affordable (relative) healthy option for lunch before seeing the Strange Darling matinee at Regal Theater /Sherman Oaks Galleria. Bam! We found it at Hana. I had the teriyaki salmon bowl (crispy delicious salmon, fluffy soft rice) and my bro had chicken katsu plate crispy delicious chicken, fluffy soft rice). Both dishes came with generous portions of fresh veggies. You can eat in on clean tables, or sit in the courtyard under umbrellas. Will definitely come again. If you're looking for high end/fine dining it's probably not your thing. But the food was fresh and tasty and the service was friendly and kind. ?“

“Great portions. Super friendly staff. I love the options for the toppings. I wish they had sweet mayo to balance the flavors and make the bowl creamier. The brown rice felt a little heavy and dry compared to other places. Since it was my first time, the staff gave me a wonton taco shell. That really kicked the taste up a notch.“

“I’m a local and always hit this spot up. It’s great quality, well priced and their ramen is better than many well renowned ramen spots in the valley. Honestly it’s under rated. It’s not “special” in terms of vibe it’s kind of cafe-style rather than fancy restaurant but I’d come here for any occasion and is an absolute staple for a quick lunch, a nice midweek dinner, and the service is always speedy and the staff are attentive and friendly…. honestly we come here like twice a week haha. Umigame we ❤️ you!?“

“Had an awesome birthday lunch at Oku-Niku today!
My husband took me out for some Japanese bbq & had a great time. They have an AYCE option for $55 and a premium AYCE with higher cuts of meat for $75. We decided to not do ayce bc we didn’t want to over eat due to our dinner plans later in the evening. So we ordered their 2 meat lunch option—picked the prime short rib and beef belly. It came with rice, smashed cucumber salad and miso soup for $25. Great option for those who want to have a light meal. We also added on pork jowl ($12) and their A5 Waygu ($45). We cooked them at the table just like kbbq. All the meats were melt-in-your-mouth good. I loved the sauces they provided and the lemon pepper seasoning as well. The service here was fantastic. I wish we got the name of our waitress who was so kind and very attentive! She gave me a slice of their tasty yuzu cheesecake on the house, which was so sweet and thoughtful. I recommend this place if you are looking for a tasty meal and amazing service.“

“It's one of my favorite places in all of SCV! The staff are all so friendly, and the dining area is always clean! Good drink options, great food options, and amazing prices! Especially if you get the lunch special combo. The option to do split protein type and split rice/ vegetables is so nice to mix up your meal. You can also order any of the proteins over a salad, which is a great opportunity. My go-to is hands down the half chicken and half beef with half white rice and half steamed veggies. They have good gyoza too, and all my friends say the sushi is fantastic. I only wish there were more locations!
Parking: Large parking lot, but busy during lunch and dinner hours“

“We swung by this pleasant and personable place to satisfy an evening boba fix. We ordered a taro and an original milk tea, both of which were divine. I noticed that many of the ingredients for the various beverages were in plain sight from the counter and were quality, authentic, and fresh. Thanks for the night cap!“

“Masa-san serves chef's choice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Eating here is an extremely delightful experience. The sweet shrimp with eggs is one of my favorites. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!“

“Great hole in the wall sushi spot in Burbank! All the sushi & sashimi we had was delicious. Hamachi Kama was wonderful too - meaty & flavorful! Was on the pricey side of what we usually like to spend but a nice treat! That said, we did have a few sakes which added up to the total…“

“Really great neighborhood sushi spot with fresh fish and great appetizers. Huge menu selection. It’s always packed and busy so be sure to make a reservation. Great service too, really enjoyed my meal here. My favorite dish was actually the vegan roll- asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots wrapped in avocado with roasted red pepper—so delicious.
Vegetarian options: The vegan roll was delicious“

“Omg it was so nice to come back here JUST for Teriyaki Ya. The number 2 is to die for. Best beef skewers if had.
Only gripe is the place is small and hot as f***. Hope they expand and make a better dining area.
Parking: Park in the back. Way easier.“

“Came here for my birthday and enjoyed it so much! The roles were very fresh and the booth we sat in, was comfortable with a private vibe. We got three large rolls and ended up taking one of them home. It was a lot of food. I also got a cocktail that was very strong!“

“I stopped by for a quick dinner on my way to LA Airport. You can't eat in the restaurant, only take out. Since we had nowhere to go, our family of four parked in the parking lot and ate it, but we inhaled a lot. They use more ingredients than other rolls, and each roll has its own unique characteristics. The miso soup that came with it was also good!“

“I obsoletely recommend it even tho I have tons of sushi spots where I live (Fairfax district) we drive over an hr to come eat here great food but the atmosphere is great they treat you like you've been a regular for years (we barely found out about this place) they are all super friendly and fun love this place.“

“If you're looking for a premium quality sushi and sashimi, I highly recommend this place. It was my 3rd time and weekday dinner wasn't too crowded so it was great. Plenty of free parking spaces. I had sashimi and sushi, and a dragon roll. Their uni is super fresh and high quality. It would cost at least 2-300 per person in LA for what we ate. Try sweet shrimp sushi - it's a bit pricey but they are great and they fry the heads so you can eat it like a crunchy snack and the flavors are amazing. Would definitely visit again. Cheesecake wasn't really my style - I'd recommend something else for a dessert.“

“Really wish we came here sooner, we've had so much bad food in Burbank/Glendale, I think that's made us very jaded... But this place is AMAZING. 10/10 FRIENDLY SERVICE SUPER YUMMY BASIC FOOD. They're not going all out making complicated dishes, they just make the basics extremely well for a solid price!!!“

“I've been going to this Ramen spot for a couple of years now, and in my opinion this is the best ramen I've had. I've been to places in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, but I think this place comes out on top.

“I was pleasantly supprised by this place. I came in here when i was passing through the area and was feeling a little hungry. While there appeared to be other food options in the area, I decided to give this place a try.I ordered their beef dish with noodles. It was a little pricey and they did charge me a fee for using my card. But when the food finally came, it was really good. Very flavorful and quite a big portion. The meat wasn't all gnarly either, which is always a concern when ordering beef. One thing to keep in mind is that their menu in not that big. They did say that they've been open for about 4 months or so. I hope that this place makes it. There were not a lot of customers in here when I visited. They do seem to be more of a carryout type place though. And I also visited in the morning when it first opened.Overall, this place does have a few minor flaws, but the food is good quality and the portions are pretty large.“

“Leo is the best chef. So kind, personable, and knows his sushi. He makes just about everything from his ginger to his soy sauce from scratch even though he’ll tell you, “no soy sauce” for most of the sushi that comes as it should be eaten. Best sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd by far. Make sure to try his dry aged fish!

“Both lunch and dinner service are quick which is rare when a place is this busy. Waitstaff and the chefs are working hard which created a great atmosphere.
The fish selection changes daily but they did have otoro and amaebi while I was there.
The restaurant fills up really quickly and there was a wait every time I was there so being a little early is advised.“

“I love baked salmon, crab, lobster and baked tuna sushi.Very good. The bad thing is that at 6a they don't add enough spicy sauce even if you have 3 or more rolls.I DO NOT LIKE THAT.AND THEY ALSO HAVE BATHROOM SERVICE.I think that every place of food and internal consumption should provide toilet service. The city should require them to provide that service as a priority.Or tell me, who eats and drinks and does NOT need toilets?“
