“I have been coming to Futaba for over 7 years and have not found better tonkotsu ramen in the whole LA Valley. I have tried many many Japanese restaurants, always trying to find the best place out there, but I never leave completely satisfied. I actually stopped coming to Futaba for over a year and today I decided to bring my kids as we were near the area. Coming today made me realize that I truly wouldn't recommend any other ramen place as much as I would this one. From the moment you walk in, the service, the atmosphere, everything makes you feel welcome. However, the best part is the taste, I wouldn't trade it. It makes you feel like you just went to Japan; a very traditional and flavorful ramen.I also liked that although most tables are for 2 people, they accommodated quickly for my party of 3. They gave us kids cups with a lid (which was a perfect save when my kid knocked it over), little utensils and plates. I appreciated their thoughtfulness on that regard, it saved me time trying to keep them clean during their meal. Definitely a must!“
“This place is authentic, clean and serves exceptional, quality fish. The waitresses are personal and impress happiness and joy. This is our new spot- finally found one! Try the habanero sauce on anything if you like true spice (not just Siracha).Dietary restrictions: No rice rolls, no fish rolls if requested, cooked and raw options.Kid-friendliness: Accommodating to kids.“
“Whenever I visit this place with my family, we are always impressed by the excellent service, the elegant presentation, and the delicious food. The dishes are prepared and served promptly, without compromising on quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.“
“I've been coming here for 20 years. It's gotten a little pricey, but great food. I almost always order my usual, a club sandwich with added shredded cheese, fries and a drink, now just over $21. I hear the sushi is good here, but haven't tried it yet.“
“We've been customers for over 5 years when the location was in Chatsworth. We were disappointed they moved to Northridge and are not able to visit as frequent but we go as often as possible. The quality of the food is always consistently great, from the edamame, sashimi, sushi or rolls. Danny and his staff are kind and welcoming. They come by frequently to make sure all is well. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The music volume could be a tad lower. There's plenty of parking in back. You can make reservations or walk in.“
“Fish is fresh and yummy (i eat fish only)Host didnt keep me waiting and sat me real quick, waitresses are fast and warm!I ate there twice with 2 different chef's and i still got the same product, that shows me a lot as a customer.definitely added to my favourites list!“
“Honestly. Compared with every other sushi spot along Reseda Blvd, This place has the BEST sushi, and the BEST prices. We got 2 times as much food compared to some compittion - even though the location is small and hard to find parking, it literally is worth it! Great combos! Delicios“
“Overall excellent food great service nice vibe and set up inside from alcohol, sake, sushi. Went here on a date my girlfriend loves sushi and was happy with the outcome. The inside is low lit with some different style lights 2 seat tables in the middle sushibar seats as well as some booth and chairs area for larger gathering crowds. Its nice its right outside Northridge Fashion Mall so ate then went through the mall for a few things as well.“
“I've been going here for literally probably about a decade now and it still hits the spot for me every single time. It's food court food, but it's comforting food court food. Portions are so plentiful to fill you up. Lotsss of that delicious cabbage and sesame dressing to cut through the fried food which btw has never been greasy in my experience! Meat rice and veggies + soup, how could you go wrong. I have yet to try the ramen since I usually go here when I'm craving a rice katsu meal specifically (usually between the pork cutlet or the katsudon). Food is usually served fairly quickly even when they're busy. Sometimes they offer random seasonal offerings. I wish they'd bring back the unagi rice bowl, that was yummy!!“
“Tried this for the first time, it was so so good. Love the amount of options they offer and the person who helped us was very friendly, talkative, and patient. He also made sure to let us know about the student discount which I appreciated.“
