“Hole in the wall teriyaki place. You order at the counter, you pick up your food, you clean up your own table after eating. Easy free parking lot or street parking. They have a lunch special for $11.95 that includes chicken and rice with salad. They also have specials A, B, C and D that are around the $15 to $20 price range. I had the special C that had white rice, a big piece of chicken katsu, two pieces of chicken teriyaki, salad, two small onion rings and two dumplings for about $15.95. Not a bad value. You get a teriyaki sauce and hot sauce on the side. Their teriyaki sauce is very good here! The serving is very generous. I was not about to finish it in one sitting.“

The owner (at least, I assume he's the owner bc he's the only one I've seen every single time I've come in) (edit: manager?) is a total sweetheart, and the food is delicious! I brought my friends here a couple weeks back and they both loved what they got (two half-n-half Korean corn dogs, 1 order of gyoza), and I've been consistently getting the teokbokki (is that how it's spelled?) for however long it's been. I'm hoping to try the fried chicken at some point, but for now the cupbokki in particular (same thing but smaller serving) is my go-to post-library dinner :) Please eat here!!“

I especially enjoyed the chicken teriyaki plate, beef bowl, and salmon with steamed rice. The California rolls and spicy tuna rolls were also surprisingly good for a casual grill restaurant. The vegetables were crisp, the meat was tender, and the sauces added just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the dishes. “This location has a great staff, they work well together and the food tastes hot and fresh. But the negatives are that it's difficult to find parking when the lot is full. It's a very busy location with many eateries and shops. Plus this store is small. They were busy and it felt very cramped. Also there aren't many tables for seniors or the disabled. There are only two available. The rest of the tables are too high and have stools. Not good for someone with bad knees, like myself.“
