“The sushi isn't out of this world but it is a pretty cool sushi place. They have pretty good lunch specials. Pretty inexpensive also. Service has always been good despite the atmosphere being pretty average.

Update May 2026: Prices have gone up considerably in the past year or so.“

“For the gluten free folks, this place is where you should go. Service was attentive and accommodating to the dietary restriction. Limited seating within the restaurant. My table and I had the Yakumi plus set. The fish was fresh while the rice that day was a bit undercooked. Everything was great but the salmon had me taken aback because of the truffle oil.“

The place is small but the food packs a big punch. Everything was so good. We had 2 of the soft shelled crab appetizer, I had the Hungry roll, my wife had the avocado roll, outstanding!!Service was excellent. The edamame was over cooked but very flavorful. The prices are pretty standard and so worth it. Join the wait list, it gets crowded quickly due to its small size and great food.“

“For starters the sushi here was absolutely bomb all of the rolls that we ordered were amazing there as genuinely nothing bad let alone mediocre. On top of that the service that we received from our server Kim was elite she always made sure that we were taken care of and was incredibly sweet. “I just went to eat here for lunch on a Saturday to have sushi and I had the best experience. The food was great and the servers were very nice especially a really nice girl named Julia she made my dining experience so much better she was very nice and very attentive when serving she brought me water napkins and I didn’t even have to ask for anything. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi. The food is outstanding and the service is second to none. It’s my favorite restaurant to eat at.“

“My wife and I came for the happy hour and really enjoyed it. And using their happy hour, we wonder why people go to buffet restaurants. I am a big eater - and I was well fed with a bill - after taxes and before tipp of $54 for the two of us. Including two beers. Of course, it is not the Nobu - but I bet you agree that is not what one would expect from this place. The service was good - and the ambiance a tad worn. I guess I'd rather dine at the Pasadena location - just because the ambiance is more appealing. Other than that: if you have cravings for sushi and money is an issue, the happy hour (even on weekends!) is a fantastic deal.“

“The food was great, service was great . however one of the workers up front was causing a disturbance while I was ordering my food , not professional AT ALL I asked if everything was ok and cashier just apologized. Even thought the cashier apologized I still find it unacceptable that this altercation even happened in the first place. It was really embarrassing to watch and I hope that no ones is fired or blamed but hope that the co workers of the older lady can help try and be more polite.“
