“Fast service, fresh fish, and satisfying lunch! My friend and I came here and got takeout, and it was delicious. They only have one outdoor table unfortunately, but poke is something you grab and go anyways. We ended up taking this to a street down (Black Elephant Coffee) and eating our meal with our lattes. The portions feel small but it's really actually just dense. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, but I do wish that they gave you more than just 2 add ons. You have to ask about extra costs, because they won't tell you that up front, nor are there signs.Overall a solid poke place!“

“Smoke House has been one of my favorite restaurants for quite some time. I first came here in the 90s, when a dear friend of mine was on a primetime NBC drama produced by Warners, and we ate here with some of her co-stars. Since then, I've been eaten here probably forty times, and I have never had a bad experience. The food is always outstanding, filling, and ate a very reasonable price. The staff make you feel like they've known you forever.I last came here in March of 2024 with my cousin, his wife, and his parents, just after we saw loved ones resting at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, and the dinner really helped me to mellow out from the grief I was feeling. Despite the "Classic Hollywood" vibe and occasional famous faces at the tables, the Smoke House is a family-friendly establishment; I've never felt a smug "air" about the place compared to, say, the Ivy. You come here to relax and have a good time with family and friends, not to show off for your Instagram followers.I have so many great memories of the Smoke House, and I'm sure I'll have more in the future. I miss it when I'm back in the Midwest.“

“EXCEPTIONAL for a strip mall. For sushi lovers or foodies - this actually IS good sushi. Soft supple rolls. So tasty you almost don’t need sauces - a sign of quality ingredients. Look at the amount of eel on this; a sigh this place respects good food done well, and respects and cares about their customers. I drive across town from Toluca Lake for this.“

“Visit family who live across the street several times a year and we always get lunch here at least once per visit. Have not tried breakfast but have had a variety of sandwiches and they've all been good with plenty of meat. They are fairly quick and have always been accurate. Food is for take out only. Not bad prices and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Nice (small) selection of groceries, especially drinks and chips to go with lunch. Looks like a good selection of wine, etc., but have not gotten any liquor there. Would definitely recommend for lunch.“

“Food is good but it gets boring with that dry ole rice on every plate for a side ?. And yall aint fooling nobody with that mushy white farm fish, promoting it as branzino! ? The fish fry batter gives a nice crunchy crispy texture but it's doing too much. Brussel sprouts are fantastic but too expensive. Average cost ends up being close to 30 dollars if you get a drink and premium side. That's Cheesecake Factory prices, without the Cheesecake factory fullness you get from a meal. Overall, I really enjoy the restaurant. The grilled jumbo shrimp is slapping and so is the grilled salmon, well done. They gotta stop playing games with the rockfish. Is it on the menu or not!? (Question and exclamation point intended). The kaleslaw ain't slawin'. Baybee, it be dry and got zero flavor. I mean, if you wanna just chew like a grazing farm animal, just say that! Recommendations are Grilled jumbo shrimp, Grilled salmon, Brussel sprouts, cajun seasoning, strawberry lemonade or any of the premium juices, all the extra condiments.“

“Small restaurant serving Mexican food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Typical fare of burritos and tacos. Enjoyed the breakfast burrito which we split between the two of us. Definitely was sufficient to satisfy both our appetites. Prices are pretty reasonable and the food is delicious. Seems mostly like a carry out place although they do have a number of tables inside. “Dude, this place has been around forever! I want to say they have extended the restaurant. Wonder if Yelp caps a place? Oldest post seemed to be 3 years ago but like I said they’ve been here for more than 20 years – probably changed hands a few times but nice to know they made it through the Pandemic with outdoor seating!Came during lunch, Carl was our server, he was very attentive to our needs, to be fair we were the only ones there but he and Raymond were nice to check in every so often… a few tables were taken after 10 mins.Ordered LS (Lunch Special)Fujiya Deluxe with the rainbow roll; 5pcs nigiri (salmon, tuna, seared albacore, yellow tail and seared tuna) it was a nice touch of omokase when the chef added eel instead! Also, comes with miso soup andhouse salad 5/5 – Great flavor, fish was very fresh. Tried two of the nigri’s without soy and it was so flavorful!Shrimp and veggie tempura bento box – served with rice, miso soup and house salad 5/5 – Great portion, tempura came out hot and crispy! Miso soup and house salad delish! They do offer a palm deluxe but for another $3 for an upgrade you actually get premium rolls which is worth it!“

“I have dined hear often for Birthdays, Anniversaries, and just because I have a craving for red meat. Recently joined family for their 60th Brunch experience and wow, for the price it was exquisite, and very tasty. The low was the bloody mary and and mimosa, but those aren't typical. The one low that has been consistent the last few times I've gone including the brunch was their shrimp. It tastes old, and a bit mushy. I would stear far away from the shrimp, especially the shrimp cocktail. But that could be due to the nature of which it was served (Cowboy/Wagon Wheel sampler and Bloody Mary during a prix fixed meal).Their ribs, and the barbecue sauce is top notch. The rye bread and butter is a staple. If I don't take my wife, I always have to ask for one to go!Their steak and Filet Mignon, so good. The wedge salad is a must and the asparagus or brussel sprouts albeit hit or miss, are so good when they hit. I also suggest the baked potato soup!!! Bomb!!!Oh, and always, always polish the night off with a cowboy cookie. Bon appetit!“
