“Ate dine in at this little hole-in-the-wall joint on a recent visit to LA. Close (street) parking was a miracle, but theres also parking (and bathrooms) across the street at the El Super. Portions for a Boil Bag were generous, one corn, potato, rice and a few broccoli were included. All amenities were provided: table paper, bibs, sanitizer, bucket, gloves, scissors for crab legs. Cajun garlic butter seasoning was delicious, not too spicy for the kids. Speaking of kids, seafood boil keep kids remarkably entertained! This place deserves all the good reviews. Our only (small) complaint is the distance to a bathroom, but it's a small price to pay for a delicious meal.“

Came here for my dad‘s birthday and it was great The hostess Chris along with the other waitress didn't get her name they were great. Chris was so attentive made great menu Suggestions pointed out all the specials and even gave us a dessert really couldn't ask for more and the food was really good . “The inside decor and set up of this place is nice and comfortable. I took my dad here for his 90th bday because he loves oysters. I researched ADA access in advance and it seemed to accommodate but onsite it's very tight navigation. Tables and seats on the patio partially blocked the wheelchair access route. Some diners weren't pleasant or accommodating about moving. Also parking is difficult if busy. Very small shared lot and tight and limited street parking. We were fortunate because we had an early reservation but when we left cars were stacked on the adjacent street waiting for space. Physical mobility and parking loses this place a star. The food and service were otherwise good. Met our expectations. The prices are pricey but we knew that and didn't mind since it was for my dad's experience. It would be tough to make this a regular dining experience due to cost. Otherwise the shellfish was fresh, but their Cesar salad was a bit overdressed, the presentation was very good and 3 of us left feeling satisfied. Only bummer was my dad was not offered a bday treat, they don't really do that I guess.“

“First time here eating at Pez with my girlfriend. We decided to change our usual spot in Pasadena for Valentine’s Day and go to Pez. The menu was very detailed on what it was instead of just names. It made the menu even more appealing and appetizing. My girlfriend ordered the handmade fettuccine and I ordered the seared jumbo scallops. They had brought out the wrong dish originally and brought out the cioppino on accident. It was then fixed immediately when the mistake was noticed. Even though it was incorrect that plate looked amazing as well. Maybe the next visit I’ll give it a try. After the mix up however we were shocked with how apologetic they were about the mix up that the chef came out to apologize. It meant a lot to see everyone take the mistake very seriously. While they rushed my correct order the chef came asked if the can keep my girlfriends plate warm. They took it back since we had been sitting a bit waiting for mine and believe they made her a whole new plate to be fresh as possible. We both got our new plates at the same time and another drink for myself. It was amazing all around. The pasta was fresh, the bell peppers were amazing compliment to the sauce and pasta. The scallops were to die for, don’t know if I can have good scallops anywhere else now. The service with it made it even better. We then finished it up with dessert by ordering the warm chocolate cake which was very rich and paired amazingly with the ice cream and brittle. At the end we left amazed and are ready to come again. The cherry on top was when I returned from the restroom seeing chef speaking to my girlfriend about the food and service. Can’t wait to come back again.“

“Very cute spot, that I would return to if I had a random weekday off. When we went there were hardly any other parties so we had no issues finding a seat.

The menu has something for everyone. It didn't take long for our order to come out. Portions were bigger than what I was expecting (I was worried they were going to be tapas sized portion, but the yellowtail tostada was quite filling), so I would say that dishes are reasonably priced. My friend and I felt the flavors hit the mark with each dish.

In retrospect, I could have ordered just the tostada with my americano and be satisfied. But I am glad to have tried more things on the menu. I would say that the dishes, while savory, leaned more light which I think is perfect for brunch.

During our visit, I got the yellowtail tostada, fish taco, and flautas. All were delicious. They also have a milk punch/clarified cocktail that my friend ordered (which are hard to find in LA) and it was also a well balanced drink.“

“We live in Pasadena and have no Marisco restaurants. Decided to drive 10 min here and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The shrimp ceviche was so good that we ordered a second order of it. My husband had pescado zarandeado and he really liked it. And let me tell you, he is very critical with food! Honestly, the Lunar New Year vibe in Los Angeles isn’t always about lanterns or decorations —

Before the Lunar New Year, I took my family to this Cantonese restaurant in Alhambra.
The environment was very comfortable, with spacious table spacing. You hear Cantonese all around, which feels truly authentic. The service was steady and reliable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
