About Boat House

Boat House is a restaurant known for its Cajun seafood and garlicky, zesty house sauce. The menu features options such as fried shrimp, boiled seafood, fish and chips, and fried fish. The shrimp and house sauce receive high praise, and the spicy cajun shrimp boil with potatoes, sausage, and corn has made many customers obsessed. While the fish and chips and French fries received mixed reviews, the fried food offerings like shrimp, mushrooms, and calamari are described as delicious. The restaurant is family-friendly, with high chairs available and kid-friendly options like chicken tenders and fries. The atmosphere is nice, though some find the graffiti aesthetic a bit weird. Boat House offers quick-paced service, with drinks served quickly and food arriving at a reasonable time. Customer service is noted to be superb, making the overall vibe of the restaurant pleasant. The restaurant is accessible for wheelchairs, but parking can be tricky, as spots in the front are often taken, requiring customers to look for additional parking in the back or next door. Vegetarian options may be limited, featuring items such as corn, potatoes, and rice. Many customers recommend getting there early to avoid the rush, especially when fresh crawfish is in season.
