Took advantage of DineLA menu We tried one of each of the offerings Everything was delicious ... the sope appetizer was notable, the clam broth was outstanding and wanted some bread to soak the leftover ... the pork was tender and juicy ... the profiteroles were so chocolatey
I have been to Pez Coastal Kitchen in Old Town Pasadena several times in the past year. Each time has been fabulous. The service is incredible - You are made to feel valued and extremely comfortable. The ambience has a very, very good feel to it. And the food and desserts are mouthwatering, savory and extremely delicious - I have experienced new and wonderous flavors. Chef/owner Bret Thompson greets you like and old friend. I look forward to again eating there!
Overall the food was very tasty, especially the Steelhead Trout Rillette. But the Crab Cake was a big disappointment, tasted like it's from a fast food restaurant, contained hardly any crabs.
