“We had a fantastic birthday dinner here. Kind of pricey, but that's expected with elevated Indian food. We ordered the bacon & date Kulcha as well as the spinach & Mozzarella to start. Bacon and date was by far the better or the two. Then we shared the scallops (a hit!) and sweet potato Chaat (delish). Out of our 3 mains we enjoyed the chicken Korma best then the short ribs and aloo Gobi were tied. Interestingly they used broccoli instead of cauliflower for the Gobi and the potatoes had amazing flavor. Our only complaint was the noise level got to be extremely loud and it wasn't even a full house. Be prepared. We would definitely go again though.“

“Came here with a group of friends after someone recommended it, and honestly, it’s one of those places you might overlook at first. From the outside, it’s pretty low-key and not the most eye-catching, but once you walk in, the whole vibe changes. The staff welcomes you right away, and you can’t miss the wall full of awards—it definitely says something. The place itself is casual and not fancy, but the food and service really stand out. Everyone on the team checked in on us without being overbearing, and you can tell they work well together. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and everything was full of flavor. Definitely recommend getting a mango lassi to balance out the spice—it came in clutch.“

“The person working the till last night (Sunday) around 8:30 or so was on her AirPods talking to someone else (definitely appeared to be a personal call), which made it hard for her to hear me and hard for me to hear her. I definitely ordered naan more than once, did not get it, may have paid for it, at that point I didn’t want to ask because I knew it would be pointless and I wanted to end the interaction. I’m not sure if she answered my questions or if she was talking to the other person on the phone and either way she was speaking so incredibly quiet I was not be able to hear what she was saying either way. Honestly idc if someone is chatting to others during work hours, in fact in some ways I support it and don’t think it is an issue at all, but maybe stop for 90 seconds when a customer is there. It was just an incredibly weird experience, and it was my first time there, so a little more help would have been nice. And, again, some naan. Lol. Maybe they didn’t have it? I don’t know because I couldn’t hear a word she was saying, and it definitely felt like I was bothering her when I asked her questions or to repeat herself so I just gave up because it was so incredibly uncomfortable. She was very unwelcoming, and not even neutral, and it genuinely takes a lot for me to say that because I don’t think service people owe me cheerfulness, particularly not at the wage they’re usually paid. But this was truly exceptional, and if this was not her intent or not indicative of what she was experiencing then she needs this feedback.
Can’t review the naan, didn’t receive it lol. I didn’t care for the jackfruit but did not hate it (not to my taste, though I do like jackfruit), I liked the pakora curry, I LOVED the fake chicken dish the sauce is delicious and so rich. Definitely not enough rice for the dishes, but thankfully I was able to make some naan at home. Samosa was good and so were the pani puri though the tamarind water was a bit bland, maybe it was the savory type? I love pani puri so honestly I’m just happy to have them, but I will say the shells were a bit stale, maybe because I came late in the evening, and partly because I’ve had so many of the pani puri from Puja’s Palate at the motor Ave farmers market and those are 🤤🤤🤤.
I’ll definitely come back here, the prices are reasonable, it’s nearby, etc. but I honestly might leave to go elsewhere if I saw that person on their AirPods at the till again because it was that awkward and also I would like to get my correct order.
(Ps, make sure you’re looking at the menu for this location as the one online is for a different one, and I went there initially for pav bhaji, and wasn’t able to get it. :( I was pretty bummed lol.)“

“Food was tasty. Had bisibele bhat and curd rice. Mango pickle given with curd rice was awful in color and smell. Seemed very very old. Usually lime pickle is served with curd rice. Even if mango pickle given, it is red and fresh with nice chili oil.“
