Super delicious and authentic Indian cuisine!
The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Urban Masala is seriously underrated — don't let the plain storefront or modest ambience fool you. The food is authentic Punjabi cooking, done right. Our group ordered a mix of two- and three-entree lunch combos, and everyone at the table was genuinely satisfied — no exceptions. We asked for the spice level high, and they didn't hold back, which I appreciated.

The place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is quick Indian comfort food with great value. The food comes with rice, naan and 2 curry and samosa, and the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan is fresh, thin and crispy around the edges, good and seasoned well. Paneer tikka masala, chicken biryani and chicken momos are also amazing and tasty. The chai is a next step. Service is friendly and the vibe is laid‑back, perfect for a break while exploring Hollywood Blvd. The atmosphere is very relaxing, a nice retreat from the busy scene. The lady behind the counter is so friendly, and everyone here makes the tummy happy and the soul happy. Overall the food is EXCELLENT, consistently satisfying and affordable, a solid casual stop for tourists who need authentic Indian food.
