My top two favorite items are the chicken garlic press and of course the falafel sandwich. It’s easily one of the best in Los Angeles.

Falafel Arax in Little Armenia is a beloved spot with a homey atmosphere. The friendly owners make everyone feel welcome, and the regulars love it. The Falafel Wrap Sandwich is a must-try, served with banana peppers and pickled turnips. The Shawarma is also a hit, especially the Pita Tri Tip and Chicken Lulu, which some call the best in the world. Customers enjoy making their own wraps with the pita bread that comes with their plates or trying the meat in a French roll for a different experience. The falafel balls are crispy outside and soft inside, perfect with tzatziki sauce. The meat is tender with a slight char, and portions are so big one plate can make two meals.
