Kavkaz Reviews
Always good Russian food!
Great place with wonderful people cooking. The inside eating area wasn't open so we ate outside in front of the Paris patisserie shop. Super authentic and the cook was very generous and kind with us. Lovely people. The kabob had a little bit too much baking soda in it, which made it kind of bouncy but otherwise the koobideh was large and tasty. The dumplings had a very nice soup and sausage interior. They were hefty.
Absolutely amazing!!!

Kavkaz is a special and authentic Armenian restaurant in Los Angeles, known for its exceptional food. The menu highlights include the flavorful beef lulla kebab, served with hearty fries and fresh salad, and the extra-large, soupy khinkali dumplings, which are a must-try. The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, with delicious food and great portions.
Customers have described the atmosphere as magical, with a cozy interior and stylish details that are perfect for beautiful photos. Many appreciate the tender shashlik and well-balanced khachapuri, which is reminiscent of Georgia. The presentation of the dishes adds to the enjoyment, making the food look Instagram-worthy.
However, there are some quirks about the restaurant. The entrance can be confusing, as it is locked, and some customers have experienced unfriendly interactions with staff. Despite this, the friendly service from the lady inside brightens the experience, even if communication can be a challenge. The lively Russian music adds to the old-fashioned vibe, which may appeal to some guests. Overall, Kavkaz is not just a dinner; it is an entire oriental experience that leaves customers eager to return.
