“New Moon was AWESOME! This was our first time here... it was a suggestion of our Aunty that we met up with. Her and her brother's family had been coming here for years, and we totally see why. The food is AMAZING, and Jeremiah is super cool! His dessert suggestions were spot on. We definitely plan on bringing our family here in the future.“
“We found this place when looking for a “mom and pop” type Chinese restaurant. It’s sort of a dive, no frills. There wasn’t anyone else there when we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon, just a repeat customer happily picking up a to-go order. Parking was easy. The man who took our order also made the food. 2 employees total. Don’t expect 5 star service or fancy dinnerware. But do expect delicious, authentic Chinese food. It came out super fast and they even gave us extra rice when we took our leftovers home. We got the shrimp lo mein, ma po tofu, and hot tea. The shrimp was big and plentiful, the tea was a bit weak (let it steep longer if you want it stronger), and I highly recommend the ma po tofu. It was spicier than expected. We’ll be back again, but maybe just for take out.Vegetarian options: The Vegetable section isn’t necessarily vegetarian. We made sure the ma po tofu didn’t have meat in it before ordering. Vegetarian options include vegetable fried rice, lo mein, and some other basics like broccoli and simple tofu dishes. They have white or brown rice.“
“I just go down there and get what I need for one box and she’s really polite and easy to get along with. Plus she’s got the right food for me and a friend of mine I hope and she still open today.Parking: It’s a small place, but very good food and I like going there often on and I hope that she still open or they are open. Do you the fact that I kind of like that food and they give me a good quality quantity for the right price to.“
“I went to Chinese Fast Food for the first time today. The food in general is fine - not spectacular but good for fast food - I had the spring rolls, Broccoli Beef and Orange Chicken with rice and noodles. The weakest dish was the spring rolls - they might have been sitting for a while as the were soggy not crisp - but they tasted good. Everything else was fine - I would definitely get the Orange Chicken again. I also ordered the Hot & Sour Soup and the Won Ton Soup. The H & S soup is very very good - very rich flavor and the right amount of heat (for me - I don't like it super spicy). The Won Ton Soup was spectacular - great tasting broth with tons of vegetables and shrimp and the wontons themselves were delicious. I get Wor Won Ton soup all the time from places all over town - this is my new go-to when I need soup.“
“Overall great place for $30. I mean in 2024, especially in LA you can’t get much for that money. The quality isn’t going to be grade A but for the price we were very pleasantly surprised! Pretty good sushi too and grab legs didn’t disappoint. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to go back again!“
“Ordered here more than 3 times after finding out there is this Glendale location and the one in La Crescenta which is where I went to all the time. We always order jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), beef with sweet and sour sauce, and mapo tofu (spicy tofu with small bits of meat). Other times we order jjang pong (spicy seafood noodle soup), Mushroom Broccoli and Snow Peas, or the shrimp sweet and sour. We ordered take-out this time and they make sure to do secure and good packaging.“
“I just want to say that I’ve been eating at this restaurant for many years, always been happy with the taste of the food and the great service I receive. My server Jen was outstanding and manager Kim has always been great to me.Thank you for being the best.“
