10 Best Chinese Restaurants in Burbank

“Been coming here for as long as I can remember - I suppose as long as this iteration has existed. The H.Way Frontier is a place you’re introduced to early on if you’re below the line film crew in Burbank running with a rigging or art dept./set Dec crew. This storefront carries on the tradition as I’ll often bump into fellow industry crew here.
All that stuff is well and good but the real reason we congregate here is THE FOOD. There are other good Chinese restaurants in LA but this place to me is by far the best. Consistently wonderful, delicious, very good portion sizes and a nice menu variety. It’s quick (15 minutes or less) and the lunch specials are a great deal. I’m not usually this gushy about anything but Frontier Wok Too deserves every bit of praise I can throw at it. If my family is in the mood for Chinese Food there’s only one choice for us and that is right here. With no traffic it’s still a 20 minute drive one way but it’s worth every minute once we’re sitting down to eat it. You can’t go wrong at Frontier Wok Too. If you haven’t tried it you simply must and you can be the judge.“

“My partner and I have come to consider this our spot in Burbank. It’s always nice to come here when I’m in town. Delicious, affordable, and comfortable. I’m a vegetarian, and I’ve been able to order something different every time I’ve gone. Nothing I didn’t like! “I am highly critical and have a very high standard when it comes to Asian cuisine, but I can confidently say that Western Wok was fantastic. The lettuce wrap filling was incredibly flavorful—I devoured it all in a matter of five minutes. The fried rice was equally impressive, and I appreciated that the dumplings were perfectly cooked, rather than overcooked and mushy. They certainly don't skimp on the portions either; I have plenty of leftovers for a late-night snack (or breakfast tomorrow). I highly recommend Western Wok if you're craving delicious Asian cuisine, and I look forward to ordering from them again soon!“

“Sun Moon Garden is one of those extraordinary little establishments that reminds me why exceptional food should never be measured by its price tag. For what I consider an almost absurdly affordable price, you're getting Chinese food that genuinely rivals the quality and execution of establishments charging two or three times as much. It's an absolute treasure in Burbank, and one of my favorite examples of how extraordinary food can emerge from the most unassuming places.

Their chow mein is nothing short of magnificent. There's something incredibly satisfying about the texture of the noodles, the richness of the seasoning, and the way all those wonderful savory flavors come together without overwhelming one another. It's such a fundamentally simple dish, yet when it's prepared correctly, it becomes something genuinely exceptional. Every bite is wonderfully satisfying, and I find it remarkable how something so straightforward can deliver so much flavor.

And then there's their orange chicken, which is absolutely unbelievable. The contrast between the crispy exterior, the tender chicken underneath, and that wonderfully rich, sweet, citrusy sauce is everything I could possibly want from this dish. What makes it so delicious is the balance. The sweetness complements the savory qualities of the chicken rather than completely overpowering them, creating something incredibly flavorful and almost impossible to stop eating. Paired with their chow mein, it's one of my favorite combinations in Chinese-American cuisine.

What I particularly admire about Sun Moon Garden is the complete absence of pretension. There's no elaborate presentation, no fashionable culinary gimmicks, and no attempt to convince you that an expensive dining experience automatically translates to superior food. Instead, you're getting generous portions of genuinely delicious Chinese food at prices that almost seem unreasonable considering the quality.

I've always believed that the greatest establishments are the ones that understand the fundamentals of what they're making. Sun Moon Garden exemplifies that philosophy beautifully. They take familiar dishes, execute them exceptionally well, and offer them at a price that makes the entire experience even more remarkable.

An absolute gem of a restaurant, and proof that some of the finest meals don't require an extravagant bill. Their chow mein and orange chicken alone are enough to keep me coming back. Five stars without hesitation.“

He was super sweet and patient and the food was sooooo good I finished it all very quickly and it left me wanting more since it was so delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I got the egg rolls, chow mein, fried rice and broccoli beef. 10/10!!“

“I am really surprised fried soy garlic chicken wings this great! They are Cantonese Chinese dish cooking style with real garlic. I also ordered stir fry udon not bad either. I found out this place via a bread ordering service. I suppose to pick up my order, then i found this place has food besides drinks.“

“This place is one of the busiest since the airport is right next door. However, even at the most peak time of traffic going in and out of the restaurant, the manager and service staff still give great service. Food entrees are always replenished, you don’t wait long for your orders However big or small.“
