“Dined here around 3:30pm and it was empty, so great time to come! We ordered sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken chow mein, and Mongolian beef and all dishes were delicious! Portions are big (we all got small but we all had lots of leftovers).

They also have boba milk tea which was one of the best we've ever had. It wasn't too sweet and tasted like they actually used real tea. Perfect for a hot day.

Prices were good and the employees were friendly. Def a good place to go for Chinese cuisine.“

One thing that make me little bit sad (but this because of my knowledge of english, it's really bad because I'm not a native speaker. This is my second time at this establishment. I ordered food on the spot, but instead I got to-go, but they brought me plates later and I moved food by myself. No, it's really just me. I even pronounce soup incorrectly, as soap. And when I asked for a plate for soup, I asked for a bowl instead of a pot.“

“Jade Rabbit was absolutely amazing! The food is full of flavor and incredibly tasty. Highly recommend the fried rice and chow mein with beef and spicy Sichuan chicken, with spicy broccoli and roasted sweet potatoes on the side — everything was delicious.

For appetizers, the Sichuan fries and egg rolls are to die for 🔥. So crispy, flavorful, and addictive!

And make sure to finish with the chocolate chip cookie 😍🍪 — the perfect ending to a great meal.

We originally came to Chinatown to eat at the other famous place down the street from here, but there was a 2 hour wait there and we needed to eat and get going to the Dodger game! That’s when Google came to the rescue and we found Jade Wok!! We ordered fried rice, chow mein, spare ribs, kung-pow chicken, house beef and all were very delicious!! We are forever happy customers and will continue to come back! The owner and her son served us and were very attentive!“

“Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“

“This place is a whole vibe. Purely from a food perspective, the menu here is pretty standard Chinese fare and is above average though not incredible. The dan dan noodles are spice and solid. The walnut prawns were a bit too sweet.

The prices are also on the high side.

But what you're paying for is the setting and nostalgia. I mean, we dined in a converted train car!

“Came in around 130 and was met by a friendly hostess. Put our number down and was told it was a 15 min wait. Came back about 25 min later to see new people being seated but we weren't notified. The ambiance is welcoming with simple but nice decor. We ordered the cucumber, salted duck egg wings, mapo tofu without pork and the dan dan noodles without pork. Unfortunately I found the mapotofu and Dan Dan noodles not as quite flavorful as I would have expected. The mapotofu was more of a salt bomb with peppers. Very 2 dimensional in my opinion. I know it didnt have the pork due to dietary restrictions, but i dont think the fat from ground pork would have helped it much. The cucumber was nice and crisp with on the sweeter side with soy sauce and sesame oil. The salted duck egg wings are exactly what you would expect. Overall, friendly staff and nice ambiance...“

“Great Cantonese restaurant! My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food is delicious and cooked like in Hong Kong. We had filet mignon and asparagus, sea food chow mein, Peking duck, snow pea leaf and mixed vegetables - mushroom, bok choi, fried tofu, bean sprouts, and broccoli (vegetarian dish). This place has a lot of old clientele, and tbe food is delicious.“

The H.Way Frontier is a place you’re introduced to early on if you’re below the line film crew in Burbank running with a rigging or art dept./set Dec crew. All that stuff is well and good but the real reason we congregate here is THE FOOD. There are other good Chinese restaurants in LA but this place to me is by far the best. Consistently wonderful, delicious, very good portion sizes and a nice menu variety. It’s quick (15 minutes or less) and the lunch specials are a great deal. I’m not usually this gushy about anything but Frontier Wok Too deserves every bit of praise I can throw at it. If my family is in the mood for Chinese Food there’s only one choice for us and that is right here. With no traffic it’s still a 20 minute drive one way but it’s worth every minute once we’re sitting down to eat it. You can’t go wrong at Frontier Wok Too. If you haven’t tried it you simply must and you can be the judge.“

Almost everything is self serve, they do bring out the food and you can leave the trays on the table, but they don't care about tip, at least when we were there. We tried several items from the menu, including the chicken wonton soup, chicken xiao long bao, beef noddle soup, beef and vegetable dumplings, scallion pancakes, and pan fried pork bao. All were delicious and came out so quickly! It’s a small restaurant, but there are still several places to sit. There is a small parking lot. The server was very attentive.“
