“I came here after visiting the sketchers store next door. At first it didn't grab my attention but im glad I gave it a try.really The atmosphere was clean and the hispanic ladies were working hard. “Wok Express was a name I passed by but never paid attention to. I often found myself at Food 4 Less to grab something or just to get gas but never paid attention to much else.
I had been looking for a new quick Chinese spot because Panda is good in a pinch but they are not filling.
Today I looked up while getting gas and finally noticed what was right there in front of me.
The lady at the counter was welcoming and friendly. The portions were substantial and tasted amazing. I think my favorite is the spicy orange chicken.

“Delicious food. Owners always happy to accommodate my son with any changes to the dishes. They're very pleasant to deal with. This has become our new go to restaurant when we're craving Chinese food. This review is an update from 7 years ago.“

“We walked up and weren't sure if the place was open, but luckily some other patrons walked up at the same time so we followed them in. So glad we did! This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. The carpet looked original (and therefore quite worn, but that is literally the only thing I would change if I bought the place. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. Traditional Chinese-American restaurant menu (quite long but mostly just variations on the same dozen recipes, swapping out proteins), but extremely well executed. We are new residents of the Valley and we will be regulars here.“

“OMG!! The food is so clean!! I highly recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Green Beans. The Beef Chow Mein is Killer. They have Imported Japanese beer that is hard to get anywhere else. “If you like Panda Express, this is the restaurant that started it all. Food is much better here, and there is a much larger selection than Express. Friendly staff, and great portions. You will not leave hungry.

“Few months ago when I was at work nearby. I checked Google maps to decide what I was going to have for lunch, after checking some places and reading some reviews I decided to have some Chinese food. I honestly love when the restaurants have a lunch special. Once I got here since it was my 1st time I was a bit confused about parking, but his restaurant is located along the main street but there is a rear parking, plenty of space. Once inside the workers are very friendly and welcoming. The place is gorgeous, I wish I could have sat down and enjoy my meal there. I had some meat with mix veggies and steamed rice, so good. Maybe next time if I'm around I'll eat right on the spot. This is a place anyone should try“

“First time here, and we were thoroughly impressed by the excellent service, comfortable seating, and—most importantly—the food! The BBQ Spare Ribs were incredibly tasty, and it was a thoughtful touch when our server brought over handi-wipes for our sticky hands. The Veggie Egg Rolls were nice, crunchy, and packed with flavor. “Saturday at noon. All the stars aligned. Found parking right in front. Minimal wait for a table of 6. By the tine the rest of our party arrived they were ready to seat us. Afterwards we walked around 99 ranch next door to burn off some of the food.

“I am truly head over heels for this place as is my partner! We can order one meal (noodles w/two entrees) for $13 and it will feed the both of us with a little leftover for a small lunch the next day. The staff is always so sweet and I've always felt so welcome here. Their noodles are literally one of my favorite things in this city.“

“I had a great experience at P.F. Chang’s, and a big part of that was Jessie. He’s honestly dope, he really goes out of his way to make sure customers feel respected and valued. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people coming in.

One thing that stood out to me is how he remembers returning customers and even pays attention to their favorite orders. That level of attention and consistency is rare, and I respect that a lot.

On top of that, the whole staff, waiters and waitresses, are very respectful, friendly, and helpful. They make sure your experience is smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

Also, their egg rolls are TRUE egg rolls like you find back on the East Coast, not the whimpy pinky-sized spring rolls. “We’ve been coming to Green Apple Bistro since before my grandkids were born, and now they’re already 9 years old—that’s how long this place has been part of our family tradition.

The food is consistently great, and the service is always excellent. One of the main reasons we keep coming back is Eddy, who always gives us the best service. “I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven’t been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken.
There are chili oils on the counter and sriracha to take to your table. This is one of the hole in the wall places that I love.“

We called during lunch hour 2 days before and Mary took our number to call us back. She took our order and was willing to accommodate the large party/order, even though it wasn't listed specifically on their menu. When my husband arrived to pick up the order, everything was ready on time, fresh, and hot! He mentioned that upon picking up the order he met a nice and thankful staff. “We’ve been to Dan Modern Chinese a few times now, and it’s been consistently great every single visit—which is why we keep coming back.

We usually go for the Dan Mein with short rib (still a favorite!), but this was our first time doing takeout and trying the Dan Mein with shrimp—and it did not disappoint. The noodles were still perfectly cooked, the shrimp were plump and flavorful, and everything held up really well even to-go.

We also ordered the Mapo Tofu with pork, which was just as good as we remembered—rich, silky, and packed with that signature spicy, numbing kick. And the spicy oxtail noodle soup was a standout again, with deep, bold flavors and incredibly tender meat.

We added some steamed dumplings and xiao long bao too, and they were a great addition—fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Even as takeout, they held up nicely and rounded out the meal perfectly.

Overall, whether dining in or ordering out, Dan Modern Chinese continues to impress with its consistency, quality, and bold flavors. Already looking forward to our next visit!“

I was here often around the end of 2019.
I remember they used to have good chicken wings. I haven't been here since then untill today, and I won't be here maybe for years atleast since I eat almost everywhere.

By the way... if you're on a budget, this place is a good place to eat. Their portion is generous and the foods are good. The Chinese lady who take your orders, scoop the foods, and charge you on the register has been very nice everytime I visit this place, doesn't matter how long she hasn't seen me, she's always kind.“

Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more.
