“We’ve come here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. A lot of specialty IPAs and pretty decent prices on some of them. I had the black and blue heart cider and it was scrumptious. Nice and tart. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. Alistair was very attentive to my friend, but didn’t seem to feel compelled to take care of me lol. A lot of fun eye candy on the walls. Vintage goodies. Will definitely be back.“

“This place is awesome, came for the World Cup but will be returning for the food, service and vibes. Mussels were so flavorful and filling. Grilled cheese and tomato soup paired nice. Fish and chip - drive are fresh and light, fish is so moist and light with little to no traces of oil. Drinks are heavy and great.

“Plenty of good IPAs, draft, and domestic beers. The Backyard Burger was wonderful, definitely coming back just for that. Having Delirium Tremens in their beer stock was amazing, hadn't seen many bars with this many good options in a while. A good place for a quiet and private date, but with good walking distance to Echo Park and local bars and venues.“

“Everyone at Lawless is a pleasure to work with. We host a weekly game night on Mondays and they always have the best food trucks and excellent brews (seasonal and standards). You can’t beat the laid back atmosphere. DOGS are allowed which makes it an even cooler place to just come hang out, meet friends, play games, or even do work. We love LAWLESS!“

Disregard the previous review that was freaking out about the chairs. It happened right in front of us and the person was just there to look at their phone, not watch the game, not engage with the other patrons, nothing. It came off as entitled and sad. I’m disappointed to see them leave such an uninformed review“

But was recommended to check it out thru a mutual connection and they definitely did an amazing job - inside is super clean, tvs and games, football watch parties and some other events happen periodically. We took advantage of their awesome happy hour deals and got the nachos (yummy real pepper jack cheese… not fake gooey queso) and the guac. We also got spicy margaritas for $10 each! They were so good. My friend and I split the chicken enchiladas and each got two shrimp tacos which was a great serving for us. The chicken enchilada was a big portion and so good with the green salsa. The shrimp on the tacos was big and tasted fresh :) we will definitely be back!
