“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Amanda saw to it that we had a wonderful experience. She was so welcoming and helpful. Many places have incredible drinks but if the service doesn't match, who knows if you'll remember it a few months down the road. The service is what makes people come back! She nailed it.The cocktails were delicious as well, we are familiar with the craft cocktail scene and these drinks were on point and an awesome price! “I celebrated my birthday this weekend at The Famous, Bianca one of the bartenders was amazing.! Great customer service.! Including the owner, as I planned my party he communicated with me And made sure everything was good. This was my first time. I am definitely going back highly recommend this place.“

“Checked out another local pub, I was completely enchanted by Roxy, the Bartender, more of a mom to the neighborhood regulars and, dare I say it, a true tavern matron from those D&D games. In her 20 years she went through the two owners, having been let go in the crossover, she was brought back to roust the unsavory elements of the pub and to restore order. She has done so and created a little haven for the locals. I hadn't been here for 15 years, and she remembered me ? There is pool, darts, the jukebox, which played stuff from this decade, but of course, you haven't truly been in a hometown bar until Toby Keith is belting out "I love this bar." Like he has brain damage, but that anthem, sung by regulars and travelers passing through winking and pointing and crooning, well it's a camaradrie that is sweet in it's loyalty and stamina. The locals who inhabit this bar work in the biggest industry we have, and are affected by the strike. Roxy, the true treasure here in this gem of a local spot, was making a comfy amount of money as a Business Manager for a Corporation. She retired, and now she runs Gilligan's 4 nights a week ❤️“
“What a cute little hidden gem in the down town Montrose area. We were starving after a visit to Descanso Gardens and this place had photos of a cute patio seating area so we took the chance! The food was surprisingly very delicious! We shared a Reuben and a Cuban sandwich. We were disappointed to see no French fries, so we splurged on a hot pretzel! OMG it was so huge we took half of it home with us. Service was interesting- it was one bartender taking care of 3-4 tables of guests while we were there (plus a few take out orders). He did refill our drinks and checked on us twice quickly as he was grabbing stuff for other tables. We are pretty low maintenance so we were fine with it! I suspect this place is pretty packed after work for a drink and appetizers!“

Friendly locals, top notch Bartenders, Trivia, Karaoke backed by the house band, Live Jazz on Wednesday, and a variety of Live Bands that impress in every genre, it's worth a trip to the Foothills to visit. Even the decor makes you feel that your coming to visit your friend who has some very talented friends jamming ? Drinks start at 5$ to 18$.“

“Went there after work, their happy hour is good. Buy one get one free with tap beers. Blue moon, Hazy IPA and Estrella Jalisco (If you’re Mexican like me) lol. Wings were good, lemon pepper is better than buffalo here. Thanks to our server Eric, got us everything we needed, even water! Haha. Good shot selection too, took one before leaving. Overall good spot to go to, during happy hour at least. Wouldn’t know the atmosphere during the night. Small parking in the back, if you’re lucky like me you’ll find a spot. If not public parking is available at the front of the tavern or a block behind it. Will return when I’m working in the area!“

“I came on a Saturday night for my birthday.. and I loved it! They had a Dj which didn’t miss at all!! The entire night just banger after banger! The taco man in the back came at midnight… and man was it worth the wait!! My guy has 3 for $5 tacos $8 quesadillas! You can’t go wrong( this was February 2024). They have beer pong, pool, and darts upstairs, and they said they even host tournaments for prizes every week! Drinks are cheap people are cool. Highly recommended this bar!“
“I love this restaurant!!! I came a few weeks ago for a girls night out with my bestie, our server was Patrick! We arrived right before happy hour ended, our server offered our table 2 happy hour drinks. The place was packed but we recieved great service!! “We were shopping in the neighborhood and thought we'd try this "wine bar" for dinner. The food was good but not excellent. We ended up with the seafood pasta and Branzino with a shared amici salad starter and a crème brûlée dessert. My personal highlight was a Purple Haze cocktail. I felt the need to comment because though the service was earnest and they did make things right by comping one entree, so many mix-ups occurred. My first enter came out wrong and then I was told It was not detailed correctly on the menu. I finally got a second - albeit free- dinner after my dinner partner had finished their's. Our coffee order was also wrong and came way before our dessert despite being offered simultaneous service by your server. Like I said, I walked away happy. I just believe it could have gone another way...“
“Our first time to this beautiful restaurant . We tried the tasting menu! WOW was it amazing. Loved learning about the wines. Had the featured drink of the week by Finn. loved it. It was garnished with a petite flower. My only regret is I got full and couldn't eat it all. Thank you to Matt our server for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. The lobster pie was so creamy and delicious. The steak was so flavorful and tender.“
