“CASH ONLY. Neighborhood gem. Inside has a cool old school, slightly divey vibe. Plenty of booth tables for seating. A couple TVs over the bar to watch a game. They have a great happy hour Mon-Thurs Open-9p Fri-Sun Open-6p. $4 wells and beers! Probably one of best happy hour deals you can find nowadays. The food specials are pretty good too. It's a good place for groups to hang and have a few drinks. They have live music on some nights and other events like an open mic night on Wednesdays.

“Such a great experience! I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect walking into Bike Shed since I’m not really part of the motorcycle scene and thought I might feel a little out of place, but I was completely wrong.

The tall tattooed bartender working the bar was amazing. He was super welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made me feel comfortable right away. He took the time to explain the drinks, made great recommendations, and had such an easygoing personality that made the whole place feel way less intimidating.

It’s rare that someone’s service actually changes how you feel about a place, but he definitely did. I came in a little nervous and left feeling like I’d absolutely come back. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better hospitality.“

The wax beans were a standout - snappy and bright with serrano chile, toasted hazelnuts, and a tangy Frenchie vinaigrette. “After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

Having Delirium Tremens in their beer stock was amazing, hadn't seen many bars with this many good options in a while. A good place for a quiet and private date, but with good walking distance to Echo Park and local bars and venues.“

“This place is awesome, came for the World Cup but will be returning for the food, service and vibes. Mussels were so flavorful and filling. Grilled cheese and tomato soup paired nice. Fish and chip - drive are fresh and light, fish is so moist and light with little to no traces of oil. Drinks are heavy and great.

“This is totally a hidden gem. Im glad I came across and finally got to enjoy. The vibe here was fantastic. Its a dark mellow fun atmosphere. Perfect for drinks and chatting. The staff was so friendly . One of the reason why this is such a great place to be able to still socialize while there music and other people is cus the surround system is vintage and was personalized to be played up high over everything which makes the place more comfortable. The food was marvelous wasn't expecting a Mediterranean twist but definitely loving it gave the food a special kick to the flavors . The combination of the spices and texture made the food amazing. I tried the steak and fries 10/10 and the shrimp roll be cause I love shrimp. And I loved them both . Personally I like dillso I was ok with the shrimp roll but for my ppl that dont like to try new thing I would recommend to stay away. The drinks were delicious. I had mexican can shots and Jennifer gray . Both I highly recommend. Also a mango cart cocktail but which was delicious also but it has a habanero taste to it thats not my favorite. But still enjoyed it. Something else I learned was the mixers are made natural from all the spices or fruits . Naturally extracted with also give the drinks that extra flavor. More natural and not processes. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy with friends. There was actually a birthday being celebrated and they show movies on a roll down projector this is event worthy for people looking to host an event here.“

The bartender was knowledgeable about craft cocktails and expertly mixed my Old Fashioned. What stood out to me, though, was the live jazz music – they had a talented saxophonist playing during my visit around 9 pm. Overall, it's a great spot for drinks if you're in the area after dark.“

“I don’t know why it took me 6 years to write this review… but Hermosillo really is hermoso/beautiful. I love this place. I go so often they already know my order before I even say it. That alone says everything. The service is always great, the vibe is perfect, and the food never misses. The ceviche with a golden pils is honestly all you need to be happy once… or 2 or 3 times a week 😂

Only funny thing is when the new bartender asks me for my ID every other day and I’m like “y’all are about 6 years too late asking me now” lol.

But seriously, this spot feels like home. Great people, great drinks, great food. One of my favorite place ever.“

Fun place to go with friends and play some retro cabinet games and other games I'm sure you haven't heard of. The pinball games are awesome. Would like to see more pinball games be added. More games and tables going to the back of the building. Restroom located in the middle(heading towards the back) Clean dining areas. Real Awesome Bartenders! Great beer/liquor/spirits/wine variety. I've been eating at Spitz now since it opened. One of my friends actually owns it. I'm not writing this review just to help him out, I'm writing it because I ate there today at random again, and I had forgotten how delicious the food was. Everyone at the restaurant was kind and loving, and the food was fantastic.

You should eat there if you like Mediterranean food with its own special flavor to it. It's definitely the kind of restaurant that should spread all over the world because it's much healthier than most chain restaurants and delicious. They have great beers on tap, great wines, and sangria. I 10 out of 10 recommend this place always and forever.“
