“CASH ONLY. Neighborhood gem. Inside has a cool old school, slightly divey vibe. Plenty of booth tables for seating. A couple TVs over the bar to watch a game. They have a great happy hour Mon-Thurs Open-9p Fri-Sun Open-6p. $4 wells and beers! Probably one of best happy hour deals you can find nowadays. The food specials are pretty good too. It's a good place for groups to hang and have a few drinks. They have live music on some nights and other events like an open mic night on Wednesdays.

Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. Alistair was very attentive to my friend, but didn’t seem to feel compelled to take care of me lol. A lot of fun eye candy on the walls. Vintage goodies. Will definitely be back.“

“This place is awesome, came for the World Cup but will be returning for the food, service and vibes. Mussels were so flavorful and filling. Grilled cheese and tomato soup paired nice. Fish and chip - drive are fresh and light, fish is so moist and light with little to no traces of oil. Drinks are heavy and great.

“This is totally a hidden gem. Im glad I came across and finally got to enjoy. The vibe here was fantastic. Its a dark mellow fun atmosphere. Perfect for drinks and chatting. The staff was so friendly . One of the reason why this is such a great place to be able to still socialize while there music and other people is cus the surround system is vintage and was personalized to be played up high over everything which makes the place more comfortable. The food was marvelous wasn't expecting a Mediterranean twist but definitely loving it gave the food a special kick to the flavors . The combination of the spices and texture made the food amazing. I tried the steak and fries 10/10 and the shrimp roll be cause I love shrimp. And I loved them both . Personally I like dillso I was ok with the shrimp roll but for my ppl that dont like to try new thing I would recommend to stay away. The drinks were delicious. I had mexican can shots and Jennifer gray . Both I highly recommend. Also a mango cart cocktail but which was delicious also but it has a habanero taste to it thats not my favorite. But still enjoyed it. Something else I learned was the mixers are made natural from all the spices or fruits . Naturally extracted with also give the drinks that extra flavor. More natural and not processes. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy with friends. There was actually a birthday being celebrated and they show movies on a roll down projector this is event worthy for people looking to host an event here.“

“I don’t know why it took me 6 years to write this review… but Hermosillo really is hermoso/beautiful. I love this place. I go so often they already know my order before I even say it. That alone says everything. The service is always great, the vibe is perfect, and the food never misses. The ceviche with a golden pils is honestly all you need to be happy once… or 2 or 3 times a week 😂

Only funny thing is when the new bartender asks me for my ID every other day and I’m like “y’all are about 6 years too late asking me now” lol.

“A go-to small bar to watch any major event. I live down the street and this spot has cemented itself as a staple of the community for such events. Staff are friendly, 3 restrooms, plus separate stalls for men, the place is constantly being watched for empty beer bottles/trash. I've enjoyed my visits here ☺

The outdoor area is covered by a huge tree that gives plenty of shade. On top of that, the place isn't noisy unless it's a weekend night.“
