“I am not a big fan of mariscos. This is one of the best mariscos spots I actually enjoy. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish tacos, the camarones dinamitas, camarones de cucarachas, Coctel de Camaron, the aguachiles is actually one of the best sauces I've actually tasted, not to mention there other Mexican dishes they have on the menu. I also rented the hall for events and the menu for their catering services are good as well and the hostility from dining in and renting the hall has been phenomenal. Anyone wanting to eat good mariscos I highly recommend this place“

“I visited in October, and the whole place was dark with Halloween décor — definitely a vibe. The bar atmosphere is great and the customer service was on point. They have a wide selection of cocktails, and my absolute favorite was the Coffee Martini — honestly the best one I’ve ever had. Highly recommend checking this spot out.“

“I came here this past Friday, Feb. 20th, for an event hosted by the SoCal Boba Run Club in which they had line dancing, mahjong and for the last hour or so (12am till 1am), a rave. The whole event was incredibly fun and well put together, the ambiance was semi well lit up during the first few hours and then the lights were fully dimmed down for the last hour (during the rave part). The staff was friendly, courteous and professional, some even helped some friends and I learn the basics of mahjong. As for food, I was too busy dancing, talking to people and trying to learn mahjong, so all I had was a soda and it was great. Will definitely be back for any future events. 10/10 venue.“

“ITS A REALLY COOL, CHILL SPOT TO HAVE A FEW BEERS AT. THE BARTENDER LADY IS THE BEST. SHE IS ON TOP OF WHATEVER IT IS THAT SHE HAS TO DO. MY BROTHER AND WILL GO EVERY OTHER WEEK. WE'LL HAVE A FEW BEERS AND PLAY ON THEIR DART MACHINES. IT'S A REALLY GREAT ENVIRONMENT IN THERE ALL THE TIME. “This bar is pretty chill. I've come in a couple of times with my man-friend to play pool. We usually stop by the bar to grab a couple beers first and the bartenders are always quick to greet us and take our order. Drinks are reasonably priced. There are 2 pool tables in the back of the bar where you can add yourself to a list and get in on some games. One of the times we went there was live music playing. The atmosphere is pretty chill and inviting and for the most part the bar was clean overall. We definitely plan to come back!“

I’m not only if she friendly and acknowledges any and every person who walks in she’s not like other bartenders I’ve seen other establishments who are on their phone more than they are working. She brings in a collective of different patrons all friendly Never once not felt safe when I am there It’s a shame the other Bartenders at this places sister establishment in Covina were as well Trained as Rosie. Or even new had to make a drink Tina’s Tavern Thursdays Hands down the place to be“

“Love neighborhood bars, and this one was no exception. I did not rate the food because we didn’t eat and I’m not sure if they have food or not. The drinks were great, the bar is lively and there was a DJ. Super fun vibes and great crowd. Reminds me of the pre Covid days. Everyone was friendly and talkative, buying drinks for each other with no drama. I went here on a whim with my friend after the Beyond the Grave pop up bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but places like this are my favorite. I will definitely be back! The bartender made a perfect Midori sour, which is actually one of those cocktails that seems easy to make, but can be easily unbalanced. Definitely some pool sharks which made for a good viewing“

“We tried this little bar while we were visiting friends in the Uptown Whittier area. It's an eclectic little cocktail lounge with speakeasy vibes. We loved the decor and the ambience was great with dimmed soft red lights that made the place very relaxing. They had happy hour going on and we tried the queso con chorizo dip. It came really hot so it was watery and when we tried it, it was oily and mushy. However, once it cooled, the dish was solidified and the flavors really merged and popped- the oaxaca cheese, poblano peppers, and chorizo really blended together into a delicious dish. I highly recommend you try it! They have specialty drinks but carry a full bar and can make many other drinks. I really enjoyed their specialty drinks although they were very small. We spent about an hour there, then headed to dinner with friends. The staff was great and attentive. They were very nice and really explained their menu. It was a cute little place that were definitely visiting again when we're in town.“

“I stopped by Maggie’s Pub & Banquet Hall and it feels like a classic neighborhood pub with a lot more space than you’d expect. The place is pretty big, with a large bar area and a separate banquet hall that’s often used for parties and events. It has that relaxed, old-school pub vibe where people come to watch sports, grab drinks, and hang out with friends.
The menu is mostly comfort bar food. I tried a fish and chips plate and some wings, and they were solid—simple, satisfying, and perfect with a cold beer. Some popular items here include seafood dishes, sandwiches, and classic pub plates like prime rib or pastrami sandwiches.
One thing that stands out is the venue size. The banquet hall can host large events with hundreds of guests, so the place often holds parties, comedy nights, or special celebrations.

“I hadn't been to this location in about 10 years. Back then it was a total dive bar with "fichera" girls. This time I experienced a fairly nice bar while I watched both the Canelo vs. GGG Trilogy boxing match and the Dodgers vs. Giants baseball game simultaneously. The waitresses and bartenders were very nice. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for watching future sports events. Otherwise, parking for this location isn't easy to come by and it's not a pick up joint. The clientele was pretty much exclusively middle aged Mexican men.“

“We had dinner at Wistaria last night and the food was delicious (we had the beet and goat cheese salad and the trout almondine and salmon dishes). We had such a positive experience that we decided to make this our go-to restaurant whenever we are in the area. I actually decided to write this review because of the kind service--after I left. I was convinced that I had left my cell phone at the restaurant (my phone had died and my apple watch indicated that the phone was there), and the staff person who answered the phone kindly looked for it and then patiently explained that if the phone had died, my apple watch may be indicating its last known location, but not its present location. She was right, and I soon found my phone--with a completely dead battery. Nevertheless, I appreciated her taking the time to reassure me--despite how busy I know that staff can be at that restaurant. We had planned to return for the wonderful food, but now we will definitely be returning for the delicious food, charming atmosphere, and more-than-helpful service!“
“This place was banging! Dri KS came out fast and the vibe was nuts. Different types of crowds came pouring in: from the drunk chick's falling asleep on the tables to an all leather crew that just chilled in a corner. It was loud, busy, and fun. Great time.
